  1. I can’t imagine it happening either for the reasons you stated. The other destinations such as Labadee, Costa May and Coco Cay did not have established activities, restaurants and tourist activities that Cozumel offers. This new idea would be in direct completion for all the island and the people. We will not be going to the new destination. We will go diving with the same folks as always and enjoy the wonderful restaurants, shops and wonderful people on the island.
  2. We've been on 60+ Royal cruises and have never bought a drink package and yes, we drink
  3. She was our second Royal cruise in January 2006. We are doing a B2B on her starting on Feb. 19th.
  4. It's amazing how people can have total opposite experiences on the same ship. We sailed on Grandeur a couple of weeks ago and had a fantastic cruise. We thought the ship was in good shape and the crew was fantastic.. Granted, she is an older ship and she is worn but, I think it adds character. We did not see or notice some of the things that the OP showed in their pictures. I guess we were having too much fun to notice all of that. I'll sail on her anytime. I'm sorry that you had a bad cruise.
  5. We got off Ovation on the 15th after a 9 day cruise and we also noticed that all the shops were empty during the whole cruise.
  6. Oldest: Monarch Newest: Ovation Favorite: Not sure, Love the Freedom class and Ovation
  7. We had 1100 on a Baltic cruise on Serenade. Loved it!
  8. Same for us. We ate in the WJ nearly every night except for when we did specialty dining.
  9. Looked up the menu for our Allure sailing in a couple of weeks and it looks like the same old menu.
  10. I'm right there with you. We've never heard an announcement in the WJ in the evening. It's much quieter than the MDR and faster.
  11. WJ and specialty restaurants have become my favorites. Not a fan of the MDR anymore.
  12. It seems to me that it was free at one time but, I'm old and my memory does fail me at times.
  13. We cruised on Grandeur a couple of weeks ago. We had a fantastic cruise and the crew was fantastic. We nicknamed her the Happy Ship as everyone was having fun.
