Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. We have earlier enjoyed the Chef’s Tables on both Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. Good food experience in a smaller group, meeting new people and have had wonderful conversations. We are having a cruise coming up in June, and would like to do the Chef’s Table again, but the price have gone up dramatically. Furthermore, it seems like wine pairing is no longer included in the price (and this is actually a big part of the experience). Have anyone been at Chef’s Table lately – is it still worth the price? We are having Premium drink package; can we use this to get wine at the Chef’s Table? Or would it be better to book a speciality restaurant instead?
  2. Back in June it was canned water. A bit unpratical for bringing to go ashore. However, I filled up my waterbottle at the Promenade Café - I am a bit picky about drinking water, but I find this acceptable.
  3. It has happen to me as well, that only received 1 point per night for solo cruises. However, I just contacted RCCL and got the extra points. my last solo cruise was a 10 night cruise. I ordered in back in August 2021 at the time RCCL offered double on the points. So this cruise actually gave me 40 points. It made me able to go directly from Platinum to Diamond 😀
  4. I was at The absolutely last Infinity cruise back in March 2020 - I remembered one of the waiters in the Blu restaurant telling about his grandma working in the kitchen. At that time she was 102 years old and responsible for all the Crème Brûlée all over the ship. I have been thinking a lot about her the last two years- how did she go through the last two years? Maybe you can ask, while you are onboard?
  5. For Visby and Tallinn you can either pay for for a transfer or take 10-15 minutes walk into town. Unfortunately, we did not went to Helsinki 😟
  6. Hope there will come more. I was on the cruise before you - and am looking forward to your review 😀
  7. I was on the last Infinity cruise which ended the 14th March 2020. I am so glad that the ship is now sailing again - it was so sad leaving the crew members so uncertain about the future.
  8. Exactly - it can be everything between 60F to 90F. Raining, windy, sunny and humited. The only thing that is sure, is that there will not be any snow and it will not be freezing. So a recommendation is to bring something light, so that you can easily put on several layers, and then take one or more layers off after your need. Waterproof rainbraker is always good - but also bring shorts and t-shirts - the weather can be good.
