My cruise is now showing balcony and club suite as sold out.... what are the chances that my upgrade bid is accepted? I'm thinking it's looking grim now.

Anybody getting the message "502 Bad Gateway" when you try to access the web and see the status of your bid?

It might be good to read this whole thread (and maybe the previous one). Good luck figuring out the algorithm, if you do I would suggest you buy a lottery ticket 😉 Even if she worked for MSC that would have no impact on her response to an NCL thread.

You're right it's algorithm, which I'm sure is constantly changing based on different factors. The only constant is the higher you bid, the greater chance you get it, though that's not a guarantee. So, bid as high as makes you comfortable and cross your fingers.

It will say that until you are invited to bid.

I am no expert by any means, but based on what I read in the email and in this thread, as long as it still says pending you can either modify or cancel the bid. On the second point, I understand you don't get any perks when bidding to a different level (only keep what you had with your original booking) but maybe someone can clarify about the Spa Club Balcony suites, in case that specific cabin is different in the bidding process 🤷‍♀️
