I can’t believe your cruise is over already! It seems like it just started. I really enjoyed your review and pictures. Like you mentioned, I love the older ships with the round windows in the schooner bar, the Viking Crown lounge, and other aspects of the ship. I also enjoyed your feedback on Puerto Plata. I’ve never been there before, but will be in May, and have heard mixed reviews. I guess we’ll get off and walk around, but I’m not expecting too much. Thanks for the review!

Good to know. I’m hoping it should be fine in early May, when we are in an aft cabin.

Would you choose this cabin again in the future?

We will be in 7708 on Liberty in May. After all of the positive reviews I’ve read on aft balconies, I can’t wait to experience one for the first time. I’m guessing an early May sailing, out of Bayonne, shouldn’t be hot at all.

Your pictures of the Viking Crown lounge brought back so many good memories. I loved going up there to listen to a band, or just sit and relax since it was quiet and not overly packed. Great review so far.

I’m enjoying your review so far, and can’t wait to read the rest. My wife and I both love the Voyager and Freedom class ships, over the larger ones. Puerto Rico is also a favorite stop of mine. Have a wonderful cruise!
