Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Never mind, I just found your note in my spam folder. Responding now!
  2. I can help! If you email me at prills(at)aol(dot)com and I will help get you all set up.
  3. I can help! Just email me at prills(at)aol(dot)com and I will get you set up. It’s one referral credit per cabin.
  4. We never use a travel agent and get upgrade offers quite frequently from Seabourn, including one for our next voyage.
  5. We have requested a special Indian meal onboard the Sojourn before. We were asked if we would consider making it a party of 6 or 8 and we were happy to oblige. We recently got off the Ovation where we spent 29 days and there was no Indian market during our cruise.
  6. We did 128 days on the Sojourn. I am a morning person and had no issues with doing the self service laundry early in the AM. I put it in the wash then hung out in SB square while it was going. We brought clothespins to hang a few things on the expandable clothes line over the tub as needed and also brought a collapsible hamper which lives in the closet. We made good use of the $50/bag feature.
  7. If it gets chilly they have heaters that get turned on. They will also distribute warm blankets. Room service is always an option but you can’t get E&O food delivered. You have two options for room service - order from the standard menu (steak, Caesar salad, club sandwich, burger, etc) or from the restaurant menu during dinner hours. The food at E&O is wonderful, it’s our preferred spot for dinner.
  8. Monopole was not being poured onboard the Odyssey from Miami to Vancouver. For the first 3 weeks it was something called Champagne Germain which retails for $16. After Los Angeles it was replaced with something called Champagne Vollerreaux.
  9. We were on your same cruise and were tested the day prior to disembarkation onboard the ship. 9AM in the Grand Salon. How did we score this? We asked. Repeatedly. Guest Services told us it would be announced in The Herald, it was not. There were only about 20 of us in line, Seabourn charged our onboard account $10/person for the test.
  10. The folks who are currently on the Odyssey are in limbo as it is en route to Vancouver.
  11. It’s described as an RR ranch beef and pork patty, 5 year aged Wisconsin cheddar, house made thousand island served on a potato brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles.
