Wife has indicated she really would like us to rent a car pre-cruise, so very likely we'll go outside Reykjavik and possibly the Golden Circle. Thanks for the input - appreciate it!

Experienced cruisers (see signature) doing 7 night Iceland Intensive cruise on the Silhouette in July 2025. Probably flying into Reykjavík 2-3 days prior. All previous Celebrity cruises have been in Retreat (Magic Carpet/Sky Suite). This time we elected to go with Veranda room. Probably will do the premium dining package. Couple of questions: 1. What is not to be missed in our pre-cruise visit to Reykjavík? Restaurants? Attractions? We're active, fairly fit and in good health. 2. Since we've done only E class ships, what are your favorite dining, bar, or other places on the S class ships? I have read threads on dining, but I like hearing personal preferences and experiences. Thanks in advance!

Nice, balanced review. We got off the Apex March 30th. We were in a Sky Suite, so not quite comparing "apples to apples", but we found the staff throughout the ship to be friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Food we found to be better on Celebrity than RCCL, where we previously cruised the most. We also had the premium drink package, and probably didn't quite get our "money's worth" from it, but like you we like not thinking about account balances while we're on a cruise. I would highly encourage you to not miss the last two shows of the cruise. They were SPECTACULAR (this from a guy who never wanted to go to the shows). Enjoy your last days on board!!

It appears that you will only see this "..once you're on board..", which leads me to believe that the app changes slightly when connected to the ship's WiFi, in that additional features appear in the app that don't appear when not on board. So the email appears to be a bit misleading.

We received an email regarding preparing for our cruise, and the email stated we can start Muster 2.0 in the app (see screenshot). Anyone know where to find this in the app? I've looked all over and can't seem to find it. Thanks in advance!

Nice review. We're on Apex in Retreat suite on 3/23/24. After so much negativity/trollng by some, its nice to hear a balanced, fair review. We also find the staff amazing, hard-working, great people. Just be nice to people - its surprising how people are willing to help you if you just treat them nice instead of complaining.
