It will be okay! Chances are that won't happen, but you never know. You won't be at work...or at home.....or at school....or anywhere you don't want to be. Personally, I'd take rainy and dreary in the Bahamas over warm and clear here at home in the Midwest any day ;) No worries!

Of course, you can always shop downtown. Most of the sidewalk on Bay Street is covered, so you can still go from store to store without getting soaked. There is also a small Pirates Museum, plenty of local restaurants or take a cab to Atlantis and check out the DIGS ($29) or Casino (free).

I know that noone looks forward to a rainy day in Paradise... but there are plenty of ways to make the most of it.

If the weather is just too cool for the beach, take a cab over to check out the Cloisters and Versaille Gardens on Paradise Island, then walk back towards Atlantis and catch lunch at Anthony's Grill or check out the Ardastra Gardens and Zoo, then head to Arawak Cay's Fish Fry for some Authentic Bahamian Lunch.

We were in Nassau Wednesday & it was very cold. The wind was blowing, and it was sprinkling showers. Most people returned to the ship to bundle up to stay warm.

Like others have said, it's still fun to walk around & enjoy not being at work. We may not have gone snorkeling, but we made the most of the weather we had.

There are always Casinos to play in. If it's a really rainy day spend the day shopping and stop off for a relaxing lunch. Generally the weather is much more stable in the islands starting in January. For some reason December can be a very cold month.

We were just in Nassau and while it didn't rain, it was cooooooooold!!! Still, we went swimming at Pearl Island...then came back, and put on sweaters and coats back on the ship!! The trip is what you make it...but there are plenty of things to do, a lot of the excursions don't include beach/water activities. Anything at Atlantis is a sure bet. We went on a horse and carriage ride around Bay Street and to the water tower. That was great. And truthfully? There is always the ship if you have to go back to it. There is LOTS to do...and they break out all the rainy day fun and games for if/when it happens. Have FUN!!!!!;)
