Help on Katakolon/Olympia and Delos, Greece

Has anyone previously done the Oceania shore excursion to Katakolon/Corfu and Delos? Could you please tell me something about the ship excursions? How large do they tend to be? Do they break you up into smaller groups for actual tours or is it one guide to 40-50 people?

Thanks.

Not sure if ship tour does it.. but you can take a taxi to Olympia and the museum is across the street from that site.

Taxis were very easy.

We rented a car with another couple whom we met on the ship. It was right at the port of Katakalon, and we drove to Olympia - did the museum on our own (it was outstanding!) and then kind of "tagged along" with one of the Oceania guides to explore the ruins. If I recall, Oceania provided several guides, with groups split up among them.

Less expensive than the ship tour, and lots of fun!
