Tomorrow (Thursday, October 29) Cruise Critic will be in New York City to learn more about Disney's under-construction Disney Dream, due out in 2011 -- the line's first new ship since 1999! The cruise line is calling the event "a first-hand look into the family-friendly innovations and magical experiences that will debut onboard." Lips are sealed on specific details, but a spokesman for the cruise line tells us that we'll be introduced to some "downright amazing stuff for a cruise ship."

So, we want to know: What would YOU like to see revealed at tomorrow's event? We've dreamed up a few wild (and not so wild) ideas, and hope you'll vote for your favorites above -- then post your own!

Stay tuned to Cruise Critic News for full coverage of the event tomorrow in NYC….

I'm hoping they'll disclose deck floorplans, stateroom categories and floorplans (including square footage), and some idea of their initial itineraries. A description of the restaurants would be helpful, also.

I imagine there will be a lot of artist's drawings of facilities and amenities.

But most of all ~~~ inquiring minds want to know which character will be hanging off the stern painting the name "DISNEY DREAM" ! :D

One of the greatest pasts of the Disney theme parks is Downtown Disney, and it would be fantastic for them to include a version of it on the ship. Perhaps around the atrium or a promenade, a la RCL or Carnival. Oh, and Cirque Du Soleil on the ship would be nice! Disney has a nice relationship with CDS, with mutiple shows in their theme parks. Hey, with Blue Man Group and Hairspray now on the ocean, why not CDS?

Disney will still hold the market on family cruises just because of their name. I suspect prices will be outrageous in the beginning but will gradually come down to close to what they are now for Magic & Wonder.

My hope (and I have indicated this to Disney) is that they will at least bring the prices down on Magic & Wonder significantly. I know "you're paying for the Disney experience", but sometimes I could pay for two or three "Royal Caribbean experiences" for the price they're asking.

My only complaint with DCL is the pricing. But if you've got young kids, or children that are just into Disney, it really is worth sailing with them at least once. And I am confident that these new ships will offer the same excellent level of quality that Disney provides on her two existing ships.

I don't know when & I don't know where, but there's a stateroom with my name on it somewhere on the Dream...

And I'm STILL wondering! The artist's renditions and video show the name on the stern, but......no character with paintbrush in hand/paw/wing/ whatever.... :(

I'd like lower rates and a CASINO.

You really are DREAMing, aren't you ??

I agrre with Cruisatary and dfa1...If only the cost could come down some! We've done 1 Disney cruise and it was an outstanding experience. We want to do another longer one but wow! Carnival puts on a pretty good gig (its not Disney) for half the price. We're going to do another DCL trip come hell or high water but just don't know when.
