Dominica with 7 year old daughter

We are a family of 3 on the Destiny arriving in Dominica November 27. We don't want to do a ship excursion but go with a local operator like Reyno or Beno. Has anyone done one of their tours with a child? She's an active kid who wouldn't be thrilled being in a hot van for hours on end, any suggestions?

I did Levi's tour last week with my 5 year old son. He LOVED it. The van has full a/c- lots of windows. The driving is somewhat long- but it is like that on all of the tours. My son napped during one 30 minute strech of driving. His favorite part was the boiling pool and the steam cave..pretty cool.. The hikes to the emerald pool and trafalgar were about 10 minutes each
