Last Minute Offers Not Always Best

Hi,

There was an advert in yesterday's Daily Mail for last minute cruise offers in Nov. and Dec. from one of the Cruise Agents.

This included our cruise on the I.E. on Dec. 11th.

By the time you had paid for the cabin upgrade to get the same as we have and also the extra for the All Inclusive, it worked out at about £100 per couple saving compared to what we paid our TA in April.

BUT our TA is including return transport to the airport which would have cost us extra at least £130.

It just shows there last minute deals are not always cheaper.

Must be some reason.. like a few people paying brochure prices, meaning they've already made just about enough money to sail with some empty cabins.

Cruise my parents are going on in 2 weeks, has really come down in price. But it had 3 weeks ago as well.

Ugh looking out at that weather, I really wish we could all go now!
