Victory balcony, here we come!

I just upgraded our reservation from inside gty. to a balcony gty. Price difference was not too bad, so I went for it. DH has no idea..first vacation, first cruise, so I felt the upgrade was worth it! Perhaps we'll be the lucky ones who get upgraded to a suite?! I can dream, can't I?

Gosh, now I'm really getting anxious to get on that ship!

Even if you just have a balcony you will really love it!! Just being able to get up in the morning and have coffee in the fresh air, or sit out late at night and listen to the ocean. It's great!

That's exactly what made me upgrade. I just like knowing that we'll get at the very least a balcony!

Ahhhh, coffee on the balcony and the sound of the ocean. Doesn't get much better than that!

Yes, Chris..I felt it was the least I could do for the man! He's never taken a vacation in his adult life, so this is a major milestone for him (us). We usually spend any time off visiting family and friends, so this will truly be a vacation!

My first cruise was on the Victory with a balcony cabin in Nov 2002. Ahhhhh, I can still remember how awesome that was !!!! We took a bottle of wine with us, had the room steward chill it in an ice bucket for us and had a glass of wine on the balcony before dinner. You can't beat it !!

Ah yes, I can just envision it now. I can't wait to have my coffee in the AM and a nightcap in the PM (or the other way around, if we so desire!)

I was trying to use the Kelly method to see where our room was, but after numerous entries, a message came back that a gift can't be ordered online for a gty. cabin. Drats! Oh well...no biggie..we'll just wait for the surprise!
