  1. I have noticed a new dining package, it’s the ultimate specialty dining. Has anybody used it on the edge class ships? Is it allowed to be used at Legrand Bistro for lunch? Would it be easy to obtain reservations for the specialty restaurants on board? I always book my dining, separate and pay the full price to make sure I get what I want. But this is a great deal, so I was just asking if anyone has ever done this and what their experience was with it. Thanks.
  2. Does anyone know what the current onboard promotions are for if we book a future cruise? We have a cruise in February and looking to book one for March of 2025. Thanks!
  3. Also, I just saw we both had to have the same package. One of us wanted the premium and the other was going to stay with the classic. Is there a discount for captains club members? And if we are also booking through blue chip?
  4. We are going on a three night cruise and I only have one cosmo a night, can I just pay the difference between the classic drink package nine dollar max and the price of the cosmo or would I get charged the full price of the cosmo? Thanks!
  5. Hi, I’m new to Norwegian, and I’m a little confused. I was looking into buying a dining package, but I wanted to know what restaurants on the prima were covered under it. I was looking at information and it just confuse me even more , but if anyone has some insight that would be fantastic. Also, has anyone been on Celebrity? How would the food compare?
  6. Where in the planner would it be located? We leave tomorrow, so would it still be able to be booked that way?
  7. Hi, I was trying to find a nail salon in San Juan and I’m a little overwhelmed so we were thinking of just getting a Mani/Pedi on on the millennium. Is there anyway to go ahead and pre-book the services or do I have to wait till I board tomorrow? Thank you.
  8. Update!!! We changed our flight and flew in last night for our cruise on Saturday. When I went to go and book our flights they kept drastically changing prices and it took me hours to do this but in the end we want to paying $224 per person plus our credit. And then I went and bought Hyatt points and booked Villa points to get us a hotel room for one night. We saved 200 dollars buying points versus paying the cash price. We do have to switch hotels, but thankfully our hotel for tonight is across the street from where we are. We both said that we were happy that we changed our plans. The flight from Louisville to Atlanta was extremely rough yesterday so I can’t even imagine what would happen today and we’re just gonna have a leisurely day and board the ship tomorrow. Thanks for your advice everybody.
  9. Sorry, we are flying out of Louisville. They are not offering anything but they will give us a credit for the canceled flight and I have a credit with Delta so all I would cost me was $100 extra on Delta.
  10. Hey, we are leaving on Friday to go to San Juan to board the millennium. The airport we are flying out of is supposed to have 63 mile an hour, wind gusts, possible, tornadoes, and severe thunderstorms. Would you try to fly up tomorrow? I’m scared if they cancel our flight on Friday that we will miss this ship on Saturday
  11. We dine in a specialty restaurant every night. We generally book an inside room to save money on that part. We always participate in move up bidding. I would always book the elevate package ( I believe that is what it used to be called) and receive $300 OBC. I would use our OBC to book what I want and then I pay the difference. In my opinion, it is money well spent, and I just factor it in to the "total cost" of the cruise for us. I also book it not as a dining package because, I like to get specific times. We were on the Beyond in December and did- 2 nights at Le Voyage, 2 Nights at Fine Cut, 1 Le petit Chef, and 2 at Eden. We also did 2 lunches at Raw and 1 at Le Bistro. The food was fabulous. The past few cruises where we have dined in the MDR, I did not enjoy it. I think that it is bland and nothing special. I also do not like that everyone sits so close to each other. I have an upcoming cruise on the Millennium, and I looked over the menus in the app. I can tell that there was a huge decline in what they were offering compared to our Solstice cruise that we went on in July. I understand that food costs have gone up so, I am completely fine with paying for premium food. I will say that, Celebrity did offer more wine selections than they did in the previous cruises we had taken this year- Apex (1/22) and Solstice (7/22). I still believe for this price point Celebrity is an incredible deal. I am eyeing a HAL cruise though and I am worried that the food will not be as good.
  12. Hi, does anyone have current pricing on laundry? Also, does anyone know what kind of detergent is used? I have sensitive skin so that is a concern on mine! Thanks!
  13. Hi, do both of us have to upgrade our drink package in our stateroom or can only one of us do it? If we are classic members do we get a a discount? thanks!
  14. Anybody know when the cyber boost sale ends? I would like to book on my excursions but I need time to look through them all! thanks!!
  15. Is it cheaper to use the blue chip free cruise and add the perks vs just booking a cruise? When I looked at the blue chip, I figured it would be a fortune to add the perks. Am I wrong?
  16. I should have mentioned that it is on the beyond!
  17. Hello, I was thinking about booking the behind-the-scenes tour but then saw the price tag of $125 a person. We have never done anything like this and it would be interesting but is it worth the price tag? Thanks
  18. If this offer is not showing up right now, does that mean I don’t have it on my gold Amex?
  19. We have been on celebrity solstice, equinox, summit, and apex. We are going on the beyond in December. The only ship I did not love was the summit. This was due to the lack of speciality restaurants. Fingers crossed that I will be pregnant on this sailing, great food is a must for me while, my best friend needs her wine lol. Between both Princess and HAL boards, the overall opinion is HAL sounds like the best fit. We are 38 and 39. Since we are going the week of college spring break we also want to stay away from all of that.
  20. The only reason we are not going celebrity is because the two cruises the only week we can go are not that great. We wanted to stay below a certain price point because this is just a bonus trip. We are looking at Regal Princess vs Nieuw Statendam. Ports are similar. We just want to go with the line that has better food and drinks.

  22. If anything we just like to listen to music. We are not show of theater production people.
  23. I am a loyal celebrity cruiser. My best friend and I are doing a girls trip and we are thinking about trying either princess or Holland America due to the better itineraries. We always get a drink package and always eat only at specialty dining. We’re not concerned about nightlife just great food and drinks. We prefer wine and like multiple by the glass options. Which cruise line out of the two would you pick and why? Thank you!
