  1. Hi cruising on Majestic in December, Hoping someone has knowledge on any Vegetarian options in The Grill and Harmony. My husband the Meat eater in the family wants to book before we board as the price is cheaper. I have looked at the three restaurants and only Le Mer seems to cater to Vegetarian ( they serve Potato Gnocchi as a main). The Grill I think has a salad which is not really what I call a main meal option and Harmony seems to have nothing. Does this change if you request once onboard .. do they cater at all or do they stick by their menu religiously..so no Vegetarian option? . Trying to work out if there's any point to booking as I would send my husband on his own rather than waste the money on me going when there's no point.. but he says if I don't go he won't.

It seems a little crazy not to cater at least one Vegetarian dish this day and age when so many for varied reasons don't want to eat meat.

    Vegan Options

Hi there, Daughter here. Please join this facebook group, they are extremely helpful and many people have shared there experiences/tips on cruising p&o as a vegan! https://m.*****/1991162617834488?group_view_referrer=profile_browser (if the link doesnt work the group is called Vegan Cruisade) Good luck 😃
  4. Which has the better itinerary? If they are both the same itinerary..I would stick with RCI earn your loyalty points and honestly having been on both lines I would say RCI all the way for your age group. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Also interested in this information, I feel Princesses website is pretty poor in not giving this information pre-cruise Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. We are going on The Majestic in December, one of the negatives that i have been reading is the difficulty in finding a quiet place for a coffee etc , did you find this?. Also i love a lounge area where you can have a drink in a comfy couch or chair which would be the best lounge area for this ? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Vegan Options

Not on The Explorer sorry, only on The Aria. Travelled with my daughter whose a Very strict Vegan. She put it in her cruise control and also went and saw the Restaurants when we got on board. Also went and spoke to the specialty restaurants we wanted to eat at. The Waterfront and Dragon Lady were fantastic asked her what she like to eat told her to come see them the day before when she knew where she was having dinner and they would work things out around what she liked and what ingredients they had. Wasnt all roses some times her meals were obviously a throw together of bland food but other times they went out of their way to cook up what she liked. The experience was actually a lot better than she thought it was going to be and some of the Head Maître Ds were really fantastically helpful. Advice speak to all the Head Maître Ds and follow up the day before or at least the Morning of wherever you are eating. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  9. Crying face, i went back in and checked again and my Club Dining has dissapeared to be replaced by Anytime dining Bwah,.. HaHa I have a screenshot wonder if they will honour the five hours I had Club Dining
  10. i booked a guaranteed MF cat mini suite on an upcoming Cruise on the Majestic Princess. My Dining is showing as Club Class, i did not think the mini suite MF Guarantee were Club Class.. feeling excited and hoping it doesn’t magically disappear from my booking. Cruise is still a couple of months away and i dont have a cabin number yet Could Princess have upgraded me to Club Class without giving me a cabin number?
  11. Wow you sound like you would be much better off requesting to be seated alone.. why do you put yourself through having to sit near anyone who might heaven forbid ...Mention Their Grandchildren:eek:. ( And no I have dont have grandchildren;)) Seriously does sound like you would more enjoy a table for two.
  12. Totally agree with the necessity of them, just hate PnO having them out on the Deck in Full sun and making no allowance for the elderly. It can be quite some time till they round everyone up and get going, and while I know to bring a hat sunnies and water bottle, Newbies have no idea. Last time i helped an elderly lady out of the line/squish up, to a shade spot near a door and told the staff she needs to stay in the shade as the sun was affecting her. 13. Yes The Aria food is not up to the standard of The Solstice but we sorted our dinners out by , 1st night at Angelos, 2nd Dragonlady 3rd Waterfront, 4th The Salt (paid), 5th Angelos, 6th The Pantry and last Dragon Lady. Dragon lady changes her menu half way through your cruise, which is interesting. My favourite non paid is Angelos I am just as happy to go there as “Lukes Salt,” I love The Salt quality but am a bit bored with their menu which has hardly changed in all the years I have been cruising PnO and they have a real lack of Vegetarian option so I always end up with Potato Gnocchi as my main.
  14. We went on The Aria and The solstice within a couple of months of each other.. yes its a step down in but we actually had a better time on The Aria !! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
