  1. I have a cruise to New England/Canada booked for September 18th, 2021 out of NYC. Final payment is due july 11.  I thought that Canada closed it borders to all cruises till 2/22.  If so why hasn't Carnival canceled this?  I wanna move the deposit I made to the cruise I have planned for 1/22.

That’s ok, I booked a cruise with a wrong dateemoji12.pngemoji12.png. Thankfully my awesome PVP fixed it immediately emoji7.png

Now I don't feel so bad.  I'll call in the morning when the lines open up again.  I should probably look into getting a PVP I don't have one yet.

We were also on the Sunrise . 8/17/20 for our 20th. We just got off the phone with our PVP and have rebooked out of Miami.  Looking forward to it.

    Come on and rebook !!

I was worried about that. Reading the fine print  said that FCC couldnt be used as a deposit that is what confused me.

  4. Carnival cancelled all NY cruises for this year.  I was supposed to go on my 20th anniversary cruise.  Debating if I should take the full refund or get the FCC and 600 on board credit.  I do plan on rebooking something just not sure out of which port yet.

If you booked your cruise through a travel agent, you must contact them and ask about it. If you booked through Carnival directly, then you can call them and pose your question to them. We got OBC because the cruise fare dropped after we paid in full. We had to contact our TA and they in turn contacted Carnival directly. And we got our OBC.

I booked through a pvp agent named Donna, but I don't know how to contact her again.

  6. I've seen several people state that they have gotten emails from Carnival stating that they will be getting OBC.  I have a cruise in September and should receive $100 in OBC,  However I personally haven't gotten one of the emails.  Should I contact Carnival closer to our sailing date to inquire about this?  I have saved a copy of the email that someone else posted on here.

    What are the 2 itineraries?

    Karen

Both are carnival ships leaving in September to Canada. Radiance is Portland, Boston, St John and Halifax.  Mardi gras is more sea days and 2 stops Portland and st. John.

  8. My husband and I are going on our first cruise without our son in 2020 for our 20th anniversary.  We can't decide if we want to go on the radiance for 7 days or the Mardi gras for 6 days and $80 more a night.  I do know we want an ocean view room. Suggestions?

  9. I thought I would post what our teacher gave my son as an assignment while he was on vacation.

ELA: Journaling about the experience. Put us in your shoes! Help us to see what you see! Focus on descriptive writing as well as thoughts about the experience as it happens. What things are you learning? What surprises you? You could write a little each day, or summarize it at the end.

Social Studies: How are the people/cultures similar to life in the Northeast compared with that of the Bahamas? How are they different? Is there anything special about “cruise culture” that makes life on board a boat like its own “civilization?” (Write about it- might be added into journaling)

Science:Ecosystems. Choose an ecosystem you encounter along the way… marine… coral… island… something. Can you take pictures of producers? Can you write about consumers or take pictures of them? Do you see any evidence that people are affecting this ecosystem? (Hint: How the the cruise ship handle waste? Where does the food come from?) Ask questions! Be an investigator. Make something for us to look at and teach us about.

This will give him full credit for the days he's missing school.

  10. Since you are going on a 7 night cruise. If your husband hits 1500 points, he will get the drinks on us card. That way as long as he is in the casino, he will get free drinks. The more points you earn, then you get put on their players club mailing list. As long as he is playing slots, make sure he has his card in the machine.

Doubt we'll have to worry about that he only has $50 to spend. Lol:D
