  1. No on embarkation day. Thx! Oh I see you said not that day now. Ok so yeah just curious about and days open for lunch then.
  2. Catalina Island. No worries we can eat up before. I’m don’t normally eat until later in the day. But all good. I’ll be sure to bring a few snack bars then. I was going to tell the teens they can get ice cream or a goodie but don’t plan on real food until Ensenada. We need tacos and churros for sure!
  3. Interesting I didn’t know that. I totally agree getting food is a great thing but not everyone can do that so was just looking for ideas.
  4. Favorite foods to grab and take in port when you don't want to spend a bunch of $ on food? I was thinking cold pizza.
  5. That's awesome! My husband's favorite thing I ever did was a treasure hunt on one of our first Valentine's day's. I bought a box of those little valentine's card that we use to give each other in elementary school and wrote hints on the cards leading to the next card/hint. At the end there was a giant candy bar or something. I probably made the clues rhyme knowing me. "Roses are red, violets are blue, you might find something in a shoe." He said it was the neatest thing anyone had ever done for him. 🙂 You could just send her from place to place around the house or hand out cards to family/friends so she has to hunt around various locations. I also did a similar thing one year, but each clue was a puzzle. I went to a craft store that could cut a piece of card stock paper into puzzle pieces. Assemble the puzzle for the clue to the next location/person who had another puzzle. Enjoy your trip!
  6. If explained it the way you did with a justification then it would make sense. Just saying using tap water is ok is not a good recommendation.
  7. It’s only going from the drop off to the room. I’m fine with that risk.
  8. Correct. Only got it for the statement credit and for my daughter on purchases that won’t take applePay. I use my Chase Reserve for most everything else. I have several other cards that earn varying amounts of rewards on too.
  9. Check your credit card "offers" section. My Chase Reserve had $8 cashback offer for AARP so I got my subscription yesterday for $4.
  10. I just got the card a couple weeks ago. I called CS and they said a purchase from ANYWHERE of ANY amount will trigger the $200 credit. I did however use it to pay for wifi and gratuities.
  11. Is it possible to fit it in the checked bag and fit less bulky items in a carry on? You should keep checking for FTTF a couple times a day. Someone may cancel. I know my first cruise I didn't realize that I only had to pay for 1 per cabin. So had to cancel one of them at some point.
  12. Actually it is not recommended so I don't see why you would recommend this. If you want to use tap water then fine but there is no reason to advise someone to damage their machine.
  13. This may not be a simple question to answer but how much $ do people have to run through a machine to get those kind of offers? I'm assuming a lot.
  14. I'm not saying this was the case but people in a suite can have their immediate family board with them. I'm having our teens board with us as I have a suite.
