  1. We always ask to have the heavy covers taken off our bed and replaced with a blanket. I don't like the heat or the weight of the bedding.
  2. Just received an email from Carnival offering us an upgrade for just $32 to upgrade to an inside room on the Empress Deck at the very back of the deck. The cabin has twin beds that do not convert to a king. We have a cabin on the Rivera deck. It is a porthole, so we can see outside and the beds do make into a king. The Interior on Empress is showing a price of only $20 more than what we paid for our porthole, but they wanted to change us $32 to upgrade. Guess what, we turned it down.
  3. Is there any place that we can buy wine prior to getting on the ship in NY. We will be flying in the day of cruise and have Princess transfer from airport to cruise terminal. Would like to be able to get a couple of bottles of wine to take on board with us. Any suggestions?
  4. Thanks Garnett. That is the way I thought it was, but wasn't sure. We are doing our 25th cruise in Sept, but it is a casino offer that we got at a very good rate, so will wait before we use the OBC.
  5. I know at one time Carnival had what they called a milestone cruise, that when you had twenty-five cruises you received a reduced price on your cruise and special OBC. Do they still have this or has it been done away with like all the other perks that have gone to the wayside in recent years?

  7. Yes. We are in E118. The cabins on Lido and Marina deck are obstructed with a solid rail.
  8. We are sailing on her in Sep 2020 to New England and Canada. We have a balcony on deck 8 with a huge balcony. Anxious to see what the cabin and balcony are like. Has anyone else booked one of these balconies?
  9. We sailed on the Feb 10, 2019 sailing of the Regal Princess. I filled out the form for our Future Cruise Credits and put it in the drop box on the ship. Did not receive a receipt for it by the time we left the ship last Sunday and figured there would be an email waiting for me at home. Nope, no email. Checked my credit card account and it had not been charged for the FCC. Called customer service on Monday and they said sometimes it takes up to two weeks for these to process. Friends that sailed with us received an email that theirs was processed. I am hoping that we will still be able to get our FCCs. Has anyone ever had this problem and what was the outcome? Thanks for any help you can give.
  10. A friend is trying to set up their account on the Ocean Ready app. Has been trying for two days and can’t get into set up their profile. There has been different reasons. First name and email don’t match, then system not working. They even called Princess, but they were no help. They are an older couple and really getting frustrated. PLEASE HELP Thanks in advance
  11. We are sailing next month on the Regal and one of the couples sailing with us have to cancel due to the fact that he took a terrible fall and has spent the last week and a half in the hospital. He has a concussion and a broken vertebrae in his neck and is in a neck brace for the next five weeks. What is the best way to cancel now or just be no shows? They do have insurance. Thanks in advance for your help.
  12. We are on this same itinerary in Feb on the Regal and need to find out what night of the cruise is the second formal night? I know that on Fri we will be in Cozumel for 10 or 12 hrs and Sat is a sea day. They don't usually have formal night on the last night of the cruise. Need this info to figure out which night we want to book the CG. Thanks for your review found it interesting. We sailed on her last Feb and had great service from all of the staff.
  13. We are sailing on the Feb 10th sailing of the Regal going to Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. Trying to figure out when to book the Crown grill. I know that usually formal nights are sea days, but our last sea day is the last day of the cruise and they don't usually have formal night on the last night on board. Hope some one that has done this sailing can let me know. Thanks
