  1. Thanks for the speedy reply. WE will have almost $1,000 in on board credit. Now we just have to keep our fingers crossed that we get to sail.
  2. We have taken 25 Carnival cruises and I tried to talk to someone at Carnival today about the Milestone cruise reward. I know when thy came out with this several years ago that when you reached your 25th cruise you were eligible for a 25% discount on any up coming cruise. The lady I talked to didn't know anything about Milestone cruises. She called the Milestone department and they told her we would get 25% of our fare back in on-board credit. I thought it was 25% off your cruise fare. Can anyone help me with this question.
  3. Strange I can access on my iPad to the Princess website, but can't get on using my computer. Have been having trouble for over a month. Hope they get it fixed soon.
  4. I think Princess is having problems with their website. There are a lot of thing I can't see on it. I keep getting error messages.
  5. I am also interested as to whether or not the parking area flooded. We are sailing on the 23rd and don't want to chance having our car flooded. Will go a day early and find a hotel on higher grounds and leave car there for the five days we are gone. Any info would be helpful. Thanks
  6. We always ask to have the heavy covers taken off our bed and replaced with a blanket. I don't like the heat or the weight of the bedding.
  7. Just received an email from Carnival offering us an upgrade for just $32 to upgrade to an inside room on the Empress Deck at the very back of the deck. The cabin has twin beds that do not convert to a king. We have a cabin on the Rivera deck. It is a porthole, so we can see outside and the beds do make into a king. The Interior on Empress is showing a price of only $20 more than what we paid for our porthole, but they wanted to change us $32 to upgrade. Guess what, we turned it down.
  8. Is there any place that we can buy wine prior to getting on the ship in NY. We will be flying in the day of cruise and have Princess transfer from airport to cruise terminal. Would like to be able to get a couple of bottles of wine to take on board with us. Any suggestions?
  9. Thanks Garnett. That is the way I thought it was, but wasn't sure. We are doing our 25th cruise in Sept, but it is a casino offer that we got at a very good rate, so will wait before we use the OBC.
  10. I know at one time Carnival had what they called a milestone cruise, that when you had twenty-five cruises you received a reduced price on your cruise and special OBC. Do they still have this or has it been done away with like all the other perks that have gone to the wayside in recent years?

  12. Yes. We are in E118. The cabins on Lido and Marina deck are obstructed with a solid rail.
  13. We are sailing on her in Sep 2020 to New England and Canada. We have a balcony on deck 8 with a huge balcony. Anxious to see what the cabin and balcony are like. Has anyone else booked one of these balconies?
