  1. Greetings, Flights to/from Barbados are no longer an issue for us. See below. Stay safe. IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR CRUISE ITINERARY: SEVEN SEAS NAVIGATOR® DEPARTING JANUARY 3, 2025 Dear Valued Guest and Travel Partner: We would like to inform you of an itinerary modification to your upcoming cruise aboard Seven Seas Navigator. Due to limited flight and pre-cruise hotel options the scheduled calls to Bridgetown, Barbados on January 3 and 13 2025, have been replaced with San Juan, Puerto Rico. This means that embarkation and disembarkation will now take place in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In addition, to accommodate this change, the following substitutions will be made for the calls scheduled on January 4, 2025; and January 12, 2025, respectively: Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago will be replaced with a day at sea; and Castries, St Lucia, will be replaced with Basseterre, St Kitts & Nevis.
  2. If you feel like driving from PHL to JFK, Jet Blue has nonstop flights to/from BGI. DEPARTS JFK @ 9:29 am DEPARTS BGI @ 4:13 pm
  3. Flossie, Thank you for taking the time to share your wonderful thoughts and pictures. We are booked on the "Vibrant Tokyo" tour and will board the Explorer on April 11, 2023 Tokyo to Tokyo (Yokohama). Then we will spend one post-cruise night at the Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta. Take good care.
  4. Boats07, Thanks for the heads-up. They opened up on the April 10-24, 2024 Grandeur as well. rcandkc, Before the pandemic, we stood the whole time. I do not remember seeing any stools in the kitchen. Perhaps one could be arranged for you.
  5. We are thinking about either buying a Suica Card or adding a Suica to Apple Wallet. The Suica can be used for public transportation and as a payment method at many shops, convenience stores and vending machines. https://youtu.be/nU5bZIGVeAo https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207155 https://www.japanlivingguide.net/living-in-japan/transportation/mobile-suica/
  6. Can't we all just get along? It's not that serious!!!
  7. Hello Georgia_Peaches, Our overall impressions were great. We were very impressed with Regent's ability to maintain such an older ship. There was some rust here and there, but that's expected on an oceangoing vessel. Even some of the newer megaships rust here and there. One staff member remarked about how the Navigator holds a "special place" in the hearts of NCL Holdings. To that point, their attention to maintenance detail clearly showed. There was some rocking and rolling but, hey, we were on the ocean. We've been around the "cruise block" a few times and life on the Navigator was one of the best we have experienced. The small size of the Navigator was perfect for me (us). My knees are starting to fail, so walking around a smaller ship was great. The crew and food was amazingly great too. Hopefully you won't be disappointed. If you've been on newer/larger ships, think small (intimate) and you will be fine. Take good care.
  8. We disembarked the Navigator on Dec 22, 2022 (MIA to MIA) and had no problems ordering a plate of King crab legs in Prime 7. When it arrived our table mates were very impressed. Our cruise on the Navigator was one of the best we have taken. No issues to report.
  9. Greetings, This YouTube video underscores SFO Peter's point he made earlier.
  10. SFO Peter, Your use of the word “probably” indicates time will tell.
  11. Greetings, We are booked on the April 11, 2023 14-night sailing of Regent's Explorer from Tokyo to Yokohama. This is from Regent's website: Do guests need to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test to sail? Testing requirements, if any, will be highlighted to guests approximately 30-days prior to sailing, and may vary based on vaccination status. If COVID-19 testing prior to the cruise is required, it is the guest’s responsibility to arrange and pay for. How do I learn about any COVID-19 vaccine or testing requirements for a sailing that is outside 30-days? We are closely monitoring the evolving global public health environment and to the extent any itineraries are affected, we will notify impacted guests in a timely fashion and update our booking requirements. Additional travel restrictions for certain nationalities or countries may arise based on the quickly evolving public health environment, therefore all guests are strongly advised to monitor current travel requirements.
  12. Greetings, We disembarked the Navigator yesterday and had a glorious time in the Caribbean. The Navigator did not disappoint and the staff was amazing. Ray "How do you do?" Solaire was the best we have seen. He seemed to be all over the ship as well. We had the pleasure of meeting Vishnu. We mentioned him, among others, on our end-of-cruise digital survey. Happy cruising and take good care.
  13. What is your land port of entry into Canada?
  14. Hello Joanie, IMHO, I think it is acceptable for a few reasons. 1) It doesn't seem as if there are direct flights from ATL to BCN on 11/17/22. I could be wrong. 2) One-way flights are usually more expense that RT flights. Hence, RSSC may have gone the most cost effective way for them within the context of their contract with Lufthansa. 3) You will be on Lufthansa for both legs hopefully making your FRA to BCN connection easier in the airport. 4) The connection time in FRA is reasonable. 5) Regent will take care of you if any problems arise along the way. Since our bodies react to long haul travel differently, I'm sure you will do what is best for you. Stay safe.
  15. Thanks for sharing. We are looking forward to seeing more videos and your impressions of the Voyager.
  16. Update. Embarkation: April 11, 2023--Tokyo to Tokyo (Yokohama). We submitted our Custom Air request on July 15, 2022. We received our Custom Air pending acceptance email today, some 30 business days later. During the meantime, we found cheaper non-stop RT fares to/from JFK and will take Regent's Air Credit.
  17. Hello HotRoot, Thank you very much for sharing your experiences. Yes, they are what we are looking for. BTW, Regent is offering a "FREE" 3-Night Pre-Essence of Bangkok Tour.
  18. Greetings, We are thinking about booking the April 26-May 16, 2025 Bangkok to Dubai cruise on the Voyager. Since we have never been to that part of the world, we would appreciate your thoughts about the itinerary. Thanks in advance.
  19. Hi Borna, When is your embarkation date? Ours is not until April 11, 2023 and we've been waiting since our air deviation window opened on July 15, 2022.
