  1. Such a beauty! Thanks for posting this picture. The Norway and I have a history...10/11/81 she was my first cruise; two years later on 11/8/83 I met my husband in Dazzles; 10/13/84 we honeymooned on her; and several years later we took our kids on her for their first cruise. Lots of wonderful memories for me.
  2. I just changed my booking yesterday from Reflection to Edge. Looking for tips too. We're trying a cove balcony. We're not fussy, but I hope I like it.
  3. I'm following along. Will be on Reflection with the same itinerary in December. Happy Anniversary and have a great cruise. Your fur babies are so cute.
  4. I am 5 days out and there's no mention of it on my express pass.
  5. Luvcrusn, Thank you so much for posting the measurements and picture. This is exactly what I was looking for. Leaving for Equinox in a week. I'll be making a trip to the Dollar store today. Thanks again.
  6. Another vote for Fairfield Inn and Suites in Dania Beach on Griffin Road. They have a cruise package that allows you to park for up to 30 days. I've used it several times and have never had a problem. I once left my car parked there for 16 days.
  7. Thanks for your review and pictures. I'll be on Equinox in about 6 weeks. Thanks too for the footstool idea...I never thought of looking for camping stools. There are many selections on Amazon if anyone is interested.
  8. Fantastic! Thank you so much. Just yesterday I added our first ever drink package to our reservation (thanks to The Big Deal it only added $50 pp), and my husband asked how do you figure out what drinks you can order. Wow! Thanks again.
  9. Fairfield Inn & Suites on Griffin Rd in Dania Beach has a cruise package including parking for up to 30 days and shuttle to port. I used this hotel a few times and will use again this October. I use Uber or taxi to return to hotel because I like to get on the road as soon as possible after a cruise and don't want to wait at the port for a shuttle. Other posters have said they had problems with the shuttle service, but I never had a problem with the shuttle going to the port.
  10. I've used Fairfield Inn and Suites on Griffin Rd in Dania Beach 3 or 4 times and will use them again for my next cruise. They let you park for up to 30 days. For my last stay (Nov 2018) the rate for the cruise package was $149 plus tax, $168 total. When I got there they upgraded me to a suite for free. Their rooms are nice and clean. Includes shuttle to fort Lauderdale port. Can pay a little bit more for shuttle back to hotel, but we used Uber for $13 since we like to hit the road as early as possible after a cruise and we didn't want to wait around for a shuttle. The longest I've parked there was 16 nights. Never had a problem there. Tip: When I booked I entered their website through Ebates website and got $18 back about a month after the trip.
