@GetToLivin Have a great cruise! Not sure if they still have the same ice show from when we last cruised on the freedom but to me it’s one of the best and has great music

@mets07 I think I meant to note Whittier to anchorage airport 🤦‍♀️. we are looking to cruise Alaska and the British isles for our next (bucket list) cruises 2026 & 2027. Just not sure which will be first. Targeting glacier bay so that takes rccl and celebrity out. I hear great things about Princess. Also looking at HA. M

@Ken the cruiser Agree, we were blown away on our cruise last may to Norwegian fjords and arctic circle. We didn’t have the greatest weather but very much enjoyed it. On one of our stops I got talking to a fellow cruise passenger and she was asking how I liked the cruise and when I asked her she said it looks just Alaska. 🤔

@mets07 beautiful pictures. Can you share info on transfers if Whittier to sea airport or sea airport to Whittier was part of your travel? Thanks!

@HBE4 have a great cruise. Would love to see your feedback as we haven’t cruised Alaska yet. All of our friends keep shaming us saying all these cruises and no Alaska? 🤦‍♀️

@Ken the cruiser perhaps Al has a twin. He was on our 5/23;symphony cruise with his wife. First time we have wanted to walk out of a comedy show. Wife was worse. 😊

Really enjoying this. Trying to decide on time of year. Based on the itinerary we want, the choices are end of may or late august. I’m leaning toward end of august.

@Ken the cruiser thanks for doing this live. We are between the majestic Princess and celebrity for a British isles cruise next year. Looking at end of may or end of august. Majestic has all the stops we want to make but we love Amsterdam and celebrity.

We were on the 5/23 symphony sailing Took us 90 minutes to get to the ship; which should only take 40-45 we picked up our luggage around 720 disembarking and got an uber within 10 minutes. Home by 830.

Have a great cruise. We were on the 5/23 sailing. I do hope you have better comedian’s than we did. First time we wanted to get up and leave during the show. Hairspray was terrific as was the diving show.

@Tatka didn’t care for the book at all. Iconic - yes good band. We liked when they would hire cover bands for the music hall. we enjoy mostly headliners that sing or comedians. Not so much into the singer and dancer shows although we did watch hairspray on symphony and it was good our favorite is mama Mia but we haven’t been on alllure since 2020

@FamilyAtSea.travel thanks for doing another live and comparison. I may have missed it but have you reported on evening entertainment? We cruise primarily on rccl and celebrity and have seen cutbacks. We cruise more for the entertainment than food. We saw a reduction on our 5/23 symphony cruise, no more headliner. we cruised ncl once ( Encire ta in 2019) and thought the entertainment was great but I understand they too have reduced evening shows. would be interested in the comparison ncl vs msc. thanks!

We didn’t enjoy our feb sailing on the odyssey. We have been on quantum x1 and anthem x 3. We just didn’t have anything stand out that made it a great cruise. Usually we enjoy the conversations with passengers we meet and entertainment. I guess we prefer the oasis class ships as we much preferred our 5/23 cruise on symphony.

Disappointing to see they have Adam kario on their newest ship.

Do not stay at the acropolis view hotel. View was wonderful, everything else no good.

I usually find TA spot on for reviews if not reviewing already.

I would reserve transportation when disembarking in Athens unless you wish to walk off early. I didn’t do my research back in September and we walked into the most unorganized mess. Over and hour to get a taxi and very unorganized.

@SteelCityCruiser10 wow. We stayed there once many years ago. Great improvements in their rooms!

@h20skibum I looked into one but purchased office oasis roller blade office chair wheels. Work like a charm and don’t scratch my hard wood floor.
