  1. Okay, that makes sense. Too bad, I would LOVE to follow along visually. 🙂
  2. I follow several of you that have posted links here., but does anyone know of anyone doing a vlog? I've been searching Youtube and other video websites, but can't really find anyone doing a world cruise vlog. I like reading, but I also like to watch moving pictures. 🙂
  3. I have to fly sometimes, but yeah, I don't like it. Especially not longer flights. My husband used to be a pilot until he almost died in a plane crash while doing aerobatics. I'm not an adrenaline junkie. Going slow is perfectly fine with me. 🙂
  4. I hate to fly, so this sounds like my kind of trip! I look forward to hearing/seeing more from it. 🙂
  5. We got back last week from an 11 day cruise on Koningsdam and we LOVED The Rolling Stone Rock Room. We would go from there to the dueling pianos during the band's break and then back again when the piano couple took their break, then a stop at the BB King stage before heading to our room. It was our most loved cruise yet. The only problem now is that my husband will only go on the Koningsdam or Niew Statendam! 🙂
  6. The only complaint we had on the Koningsdam. Not a problem for me, but a big one for husband.
  7. Looking forward to it! We board December 22nd! Only 9 days left to shed those 16lbs!!!!!
  8. Okay, thanks! I will bring a pair then. 🙂
  9. Last time with HAL we were on the Oosterdam and we had binoculars in our room. Do they have them on Koningsdam as well? We're in a veranda stateroom. TIA 🙂
  10. We like to bask in the sun on sea days. We usually read, so for us, the sound of the water and the wind is all we need. However, when 17:00 rolls around, yeah sure, bring on the music. 🙂
  11. Just an update. I did call Celebrity and I was told my husband can leave early. I just need to call them beforehand and it's $65. 🙂
  12. We always have our passports with us. Thanks! I think I will have to call them. 🙂
  13. We are booked on Silhouette December 22nd. It turns out my husband has to get home earlier than we thought. Ideally he would fly home from St. Kitts on Dec 31st. I would stay on for the duration of the cruise. Is this allowed? Thanks in advance. 🙂
  14. I live in Florida, so I have 5 cruise ports nearby. Going on a cruise is easy, convenient and affordable. We did Panama Canal over Christmas on Island Princess, then I went with my daughter and granddaughter on Oasis in February. It's really not much difference in cost compared to going to and staying at Disney World. Except the scenery changes and there's no Mickey. 🙂
