  1. @schmoopie17Keep looking around, still 446 days till 2026. We sailed on the Escape last year, my humble opinion the best ship in the fleet, anything else sailing out of NOLA?
  2. getting real hungry, for brunch for us was Ruby Slipper or French Toast. Prefer French since its more " local " and closer to the market. Central Grocery has been closed for awhile, barrier out front, appears they are in the middle of a very long renovation.
  3. We like walking over to Riverwalk Outlets, that location is busy but never a line, plus it's inside
  4. new shirt, old one went missing on the Viva, same theme - maybe we all should get one for the sailaway Yes I'm drinking a frozen toasted almond and taking my meds
  5. We accept the nomination for the Bar crawl in NOLA, first stop is Pat Obrien's
  6. Personally would like to sail on the Escape. We could easily spend an entire week crawling around NOLA and would use the cruise as R&R.
  7. Just an idea, maybe we could book thru Cruise Critic and inquire about a group discount. https://www.cruisecritic.com/smart-deals/?suppressTabs=1&source=132631&taparam=ECCGoogleUS_Kkwd-1084349999710_A123929349748&supai=498030454271&supsn=g&supmbl=&suppos=&supap1=11872788378&supap2=123929349748&supdev=c&suprnd=9459497337667536285&supmob=kwd-1084349999710&suplp=&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwjY64BhCaARIsAIfc7YY-Mhrs3eiyUE0ejeDAAUfvHPv8gdHmH4rjPGU_6xRJHwRvduPbfhUaAimkEALw_wcB
  8. Anything over 10 days would be nice and limited flying to the embarkation port
  9. Was that a double for Mrs Schmoopie, that's no martini.
  10. Happy to see no chocolate coating on the glass, I don't know why they insisted on the chocolate addition while on the Gem, you have to cut calories somewhere.
  11. I don't know if this old dog has any fight left since retirement, I have gone back to my childhood in the sixties, Love, Peace, and Pot ( except now it's Gummies and legal here in NYS ). I have a CAS Charter cruise on the horizon and plenty of time and pistachio martinis before I have to do anything. Thanks for the intel Jim
  12. Could it be the same person as well? There is a 22 involved
  13. While on the Gem last month we had the group services coordinator as one of the officers. She said that they are aware of what is going on with CC meet and greets but will not get involved. As far as refreshments, we had plenty on the Gem. I'm trying to get a location for the LCR games on the Aqua TA, I don't know the status of the M&G since the person in charge has been MIA for months
  14. Did you know that NCL has changed the way to setup a meet and greet, I tried using the email address but it was kicked back. Found this on the CC board Has anyone used the email address this year, to arrange a meet and greet?
  15. But would you entertain the idea of a TA going east, spending some time in Europe, or even a cruise, then a TA going west?
  16. We are returning to MSC this January, the first one was great, a upgrade to YC suite made it very special. This time will be a YC interior, under $200 per day per person, if we can survive ten days with this type of cabin we may never return to NCL after the Aqua TA. Unfortunately, MSC has only 7 day cruises in January 2026 out of NYC
  17. More on More from our friends on the other side of the pond
  18. Nah, that's the baby looking for Mama, I wonder where the other one is?
  19. Along with the missing site, we now have this enormous black cat in the backyard, here kitty Ring_Garden_20240929_2204.mp4
  20. look what I found on the web, Free has been replaced by More, went back to NCL.com later on and it was gone, hmm
  21. Our final payment is only 60 days away, I wish NCL would give an update on the status of the build.
