  1. Just wondered if Koningsdam has any laudromats on board?
  2. We've had 2 different suite offers for this sailing.Has anyone else gotten them? Unless it gets pretty low,I doubt we'll upgrade as we're in a Vista Suite now.
  3. We had the Bushnell binoculars in our Veranda Suite on our British Isles trip last summer, and found them to work really well.
  4. On the 26th we will be sailing on Koningsdam in a Vista Suite.Today, our travel agent sent us an e-mail from HAL with an offer for Club Orange on our sailing for 50$ a day. The perks are nice, but we don't feel paying the extra 50$ a day is worth it.We can use that money on an excursion.
  5. Thank you for your review. We will be on her end of March!
  6. Koningsdam,March 27,2019,11day Southern Carribbean from Ft.Lauderdale,2nd HAL criuse, delayed 45th anniversary cruise!
  7. Crew News, thank you for the info.We became 2star Mariners on our last cruise, and look forward to the luncheon!
  8. Hub and I waill also being on this cruise. Our first was Prinsendam in July for 16 days.Loved how well Hal treats you!
  9. Crewnews, thank you for all the pictures, and everyone for their tips! Looking forward to our trip in 62 days, and The Rolling Stone Club!
  10. We did our first cruise on Prinsendam last summer, and loved HAL so much we are going again in March.Does Koningsdam have laundromat facilities also? Also any tips would be appreciated!
  11. Good evening from a very travel weary passenger. This being our first ever cruise with HAL and Prinsendam,we just walked in and let go.All I can say at the moment,is wow, wow, wow!! Although she is an old ship you can really see her beauty. We loved sailing on her,and were amazed at the level of service provided daily. The staff is warm and friendly. Our room stewards were amazing. They just did it all, most of the time way before we returned to our room.We had cabin 216,one of the cabins in the newer section of deck 8.It was a very comfortable cabin. The engine room was2 floors below us,and occasionally it would get loud, but it was never annoying. The trip was beyond our wildest dreams. The weather was fantastic during the whole trip. Now to readjust to being back home. This was ourfirst trip to Europe, and its time for some shuteye. We already booked a 21 day Caribbean on the Koningsdam for 2020.I believe we've found a new home with HAL!:)
  12. Thank you everyone for your great comments.I don't think these 22 days will pass fast enough. It will be a nice respite from this Florida heat! :)
  13. Hi Paul, thank you for the laundry info, We looking forward to saying hello!:)
  14. Hub and I are quite excited. After trying 3 times in the past 3 years to get to actually do this trip,we are FINALLY going to make it. Last year we missed going by a week because I suddenly had emergency heart surgery. We are doing The British Explorer the end of this month, and I booked it after I came home from the hospital. It had such a great package included in the price, that I couldn't pass it up.We are on the Promenade deck in BC216,so I'm thrilled we have a nice rear corner view. I'm hoping that this room isn't going to be one of those dreaded add-on rooms I read about. I do have a question, are there any laundromats on the ship? I prefer to do my own instead of paying. I've read such great stories about this ship I can't wait to see her. This will be our first time going to Europe, and I hope the time doesn't pass to fast.!
