  1. This will be our ninth cruise.  We have booked an inside again this time.  We have had balconies and outside rooms with windows and for as often as we are actually in our room, paying the extra money for one of those can't be justified.  We had a balcony on our Hawaii cruise and it was so hot we barely used the balcony.  We've had inside rooms with virtual windows that project what it looks like outside the ship and had to keep reminding ourselves that it wasn't a real window!  We had a balcony for a Mediterranean cruise and loved it, but never felt we were spoiled by it.  Booking an inside room enables us to travel more often and to far-reaching ports.  If I were rich, I'd book a better room, but an inside room provides everything we need and is budget friendly.  This is a picture of our inside room on RC's Anthem of the Seas with a virtual window (on the left).  The room was comfortable enough for two and the total darkness provided a wonderful sleep.
