  1. We will be in Invergorden in August 2020. Would you be interested in sharing your tour company recommendation? The sites you mentioned all sound excellent. Thank You!
  2. I would be interested in info for a private driver/transfer service to meet us at the Airport to pick up a party of 4 adults with luggage at Schipol Airport to transport to our Hotel in the City next August 2020. Thanks!
  3. I have not yet cruised out of Canada but with all our other cruises around the world to various locations, I have never been questioned about any of my medications that I typically do not carry in their original bottles but in those plastic pill keepers labeled Sunday thru Saturday. I keep them in my carry on bag that goes thru Security and never any issues. I am curious if others here have had any concerns or been questioned about their prescription medications while traveling.
  4. Thanks for all the great info on Bergen. Is there a TI office near the cruise dock to pick up walking maps? Nice to know we do not have to plan or organize via a cruise ship tour or private tour.
  5. I need to edit my Post #5 but do not know how to do it. Post #7 is correct with the itinerary and the direction from Tokyo we would be cruising. I was wrong when I originally said we cruised North from Tokyo, we start southbound down the East Coast of Japan and then move North up the Western coastline.. Thanks for everyones beautiful pictures and trip notes. Brenda
  6. Thanks for sharing all your beautiful pictures and travel notes Miaminice. Looks like you had a fabulous trip. The cruise itinerary (Japan Intensive) we are leaning towards starts in Tokyo on April 5th, moves South to Shimzu, Kobe, Hiroshima, Yeosu, South Korea then north up the west coast of Japan to Kanazawa, Nigata, Akita, Aomori, Hakodate (Hokkaido) and then ends back in Tokyo on April 19th. Same itinerary that departs on April 18th is our other option, I am concerned that the later April departure date will put us pass the prime time to see the Cherry Blossoms. Your thoughts.....
  7. I’m leaning to departure early April out of Tokyo. The cruise departs Tokyo April 5th, moves Northbound and then South on the west coast of Japan and then back North up the east coast of Japan to Tokyo where it ends. thanks for the great input from those who have been to Japan previously!
  8. We will have 1 Port day in Bergen from 9A-6P in June. Is Bergen pretty easy to DIY from the ship, walking around and seeing the sights on our own or do we need to book a tour/ rent a Car? Is there a Hop On/Hop Off Bus in Bergen near the Port? Thanks for your recommendations!
  9. We are looking to book a 14 day cruise round trip Tokyo to Tokyo in April 2021 for the Cherry Blossoms. Which time in April is best..... any of you who have cruised Japan previously would recommend. There is a ship departure 4/5 and 4/19. Appreciate your thoughts & recommendations
  10. Has anyone used a Private Tour company for an Acadia National Park tour that they would be willing to share the name and their experience with the company. I am trying to organize a private small group tour from our cruise ship roll call for a tour when we are in Bar Harbor in early November. Thanks!
  11. Thank You for your most helpful information!
  12. Hi Barbara, I will be interested in your feedback with regards to Target Tours. I have e-mailed them for information regarding their tours offered for small groups of 8-10 from our Roll call for our Port days in PEI, Sydney, Nova Scotia and Halifax. We will be there in November, 2019. Can you share what tour options you chose for your bookings with this company
  13. We will be in Cruise Port of Flam in June 2019. Looking for recommendations for how to best spend our day other then the Railway tours that are promoted by the Cruise Lines. Is Flam pretty much a DIY Port, would rental car or private tour guide be useful? All suggestions welcome. We have friends who cruised the Norwegian Fjords previously and were not happy with their Flam railway excursion, this is why I am looking for other options. Thanks
