We leave on the Panorama Saturday and just got all the final boarding emails from Carnival and noticed that it said masks are required at all times. I assumed prior that outside like everywhere else in the world it is okay not to wear a mask. Do I really need to wear a mask while on the lido deck or playing mini-golf? This seems a little ridiculous.

Thank you for sharing. I got on to checkin at 9:01 pm pacific time right when it opened up and the best I could get was 1:30 pm. Good to know if we show up a bit early we will get in. Thanks

We have a 1:30 check in time for our upcoming cruise. We have never had it this late. Wondering from cruiser who have board in Long Beach recently, is the 1:30 time slot strictly enforced? If we arrive at 12:30 would we be turned away? I ask because ships are at reduced capacity and wondering if it is really that busy boarding.

Does anyone know when they open check in time on the date assigned? For example if my check in time is available on February 3rd, does this open at 12:01 am on the 3rd eastern time? We want to check in as soon as possible to try and get early boarding.
Thanks in advance!

We are on the April 11 Magic cruise. This is less than 30 days out. Do not know how they can go against what was just said by the president! I am missing something? When I log into Carnival it says my trip is in 28days....

We will be on the Magic this year during Easter while in half moon cay. From past experience does anyone know if they will have mass on the ship? We are taking our in laws for the first time on a cruise. They never miss church on Saturday or sundays. Thanks in advance if anyone knows.

We just got our cabana. very excited. But curious to those that have had one. Our time slot says 9:30. But when I go back and look at the cabanas they now have time slots for 9:00 am. Does this matter?
-
Thank you! I appreciate it. I just don't see my kids using it as much.
-
For anyone who has rented a cabana before, I are they very strict about only 4 people using it throughout the day? We have 4 adults and 3 children. The children will probably rarely use it and they are also 7-10 yrs old. Seems a little steep to charge $49 per person over the 4 person limit. We are not trying to take advantage of the situation just curious about the process.

I think you will be surprised. We were with him on the magic in Feb and he was awesome. We have been with Pack 2x, Schwartz, Loddi and MarQ and MarQ is by far and away our 1b behind Mike Pack our 1a. The other two were not even close.

We were wondering for those in the past who have secured a cabana at Half Moon Cay do you remember about how far out they became available? Don't worry I will still check every day but curious. Also, do you need FTTF to get the best cabana once on board to pick or is there really a bad one to have.
Thanks in advance.

I asked and jack said I have to find someone willing to bring to the states and then mail from there. Thanks.

Anyone going to Jack's Shack in the near future? If willing I would love for someone to get 10-15 bottles of there hot sauce and I will pay you for your time and shipping also.
Send me a message if you would be so willing to do so. I will call and charge the sauce so you can just pick up.

Thanks for quick replies. Has anyone been one on one of the first tenders and wondering if you can recall how fast you got on land.

We arrive in Cayman at 7:30 am on the Carnival Magic in February. We will have priority debark with FTTF. Is it realistic to think we will tender in and be on land by 7:50 or 8 am? We are trying to do Captain Marvin's stingray city which leaves at 8:15 am. The main reason why we want this one so bad is that they drop you off at 7 mile on the way back to maximize our time in the port. Thanks in advance for your help!

I was wondering if anyone knows a ball park time frame when Carnival will put up excursions? We leave Feb 17, 2019. Thanks in advance!

Thank you for all of the reply's. I was able to get gratuities refunded back onto my credit card as well as all gift card purchases for cheers package refunded onto a gift card. One of the families we are going is going to use our gift cards that were refunded.
-
Thanks and good idea. I did pre pay gratuities but that may be something I can get refunded . I have always prepaid the gratuities in the past. Do you just get charged to your card at the end of the cruise or do I need to go to guest services and ask to have OBC applied to gratuities?
-
Where did the OBC come from? That will determine whether it's refundable or not. Can't help with those "gift" cards...they are more trouble than they're worth, IMO!
We got $150 total form a TA and the rest is from Carnival.
-
We have a cruise coming up in February. So far we have received $550 OBC each for 2 rooms because of price drops ($1100 total so far). The problem is I already paid off the cruise and drink package with Verizon-Carnival Gift Cards, so rather than get the cruise at a lower price each time they have to give OBC.
My main questions:
Can you cash in OBC at the end of the trip? If you have any tips please let me know or message me.
Also, has anyone been able to refund a $500 gift card in the form of another $500 gift card.? The reason I ask is we have 3 other families going and I know they would buy them off of us.

Does anyone know if the Conquest has a bar in the steakhouse?

Thanks for posting as I thought I was going crazy. We received the same message which is why I started the thread. I guess we will gauge the pulse of the ships mask enforcement.
