  1. Azrunnergirl, we did not have a rollaway as we had a regular bed, Murphy bed and a sofa bed. Sorry.
  2. I'm sailing on the Pearl on September 20th and have a suite that fits 6 passengers. I only had 5 booked after final payment so I added my SIL a few weeks ago and was only charged port fees and taxes which were $204. I booked in February of this year so all guests sailed for free. My SIL also received all the perks that I had qualified for during the February promotions which were very nice. I would call NCL and see what they have to say, hopefully your room fits 4 passengers so you only have to pay taxes and port fees.
  3. On page 2 of this thread I posted pictures of suite number 12026. We were on the Dawn last year in April. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2123962
  4. On page 4 of my review I have posted links to the dailies. These are from April of this year. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2196172
  5. We were in suite 13002 and the room was spacious and the balcony was over 440 square feet. Well worth a few extra bucks for the 5 of us.
  6. I do not have any information for that age group as we were busy at the ports and tired when we arrived on the ship every evening.
  7. We took our own towels and we had ponchos but no umbrellas. We used the ponchos only once.
  8. Yes, we bought the first containers of PB&J and bread at an ABC store next to our hotel in Honolulu. Then at each port we bought more including soda and snacks at a Kmart or small grocery store before boarding each afternoon.
  9. Here's a link to our POA review this past April with 5 of us. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2196172
  10. We used King Airport shuttle from the airport to our hotel and also from the hotel to the port. Our hotel was on Wakiki and for all 5 of us cost $28 each way. 1-808-352-4670. We sailed this past April on the POA.
  11. We were on the POA in April of this year and loved it. We rented a car at each port and did what we wanted to do instead of shore excursions. We had a suite that had the largest deck (400 square feet) I have ever seen on a cruise ship and enjoyed spending the evenings on it. The food was not great but it was good enough. You will love all the islands especially with the two overnights. Attached are a few pictures of the deck, coast and Queens bath.
  12. Correct, it is not a full bedroom. It has a curtain and between both beds is about 3 feet. The couch is a pull out and neither of my 3 kids complained. They said it was comfortable and remember complained plus you are very tired after each day so by bedtime everyone was literally passing out. The room has plenty of space and the balcony is incredible. We spend most of our cabin time on the balcony as it has a table with four chairs a few loungers and a smaller table. The bathroom is very spacious and laid out great. We had five in the room and we easily could have had another person without any issues. If you have any other specific questions please ask. Hope you have a great trip.
  13. I will try and finish our 2 days post cruise this weekend. I just want to mention the Aloha swamp meet held on Wednesday, Saturday and Sundays from 8a-3p. We only buy one souvenir each vacation and that is for our pet sitter. We purchased it on one of the islands earlier in the week. We should have waited until the swamp meet. The price was half of what we paid on the island for the same exact item. The place is huge and they have everything you want. Here's the website for more information http://www.alohastadiumswapmeet.net/ It costs $1 per person over the age of 11. You can find shirts for 4 or 5 for $20 or $27 dollars depending on the quality you want. This place will save you some $ if you plan on buying souvenirs. It is about 20 minutes from Wakiki, we had a rental car but I am sure you can find a shuttle as it is a very popular spot.
