  1. You are right it was the Adonia from the Fathom brand owned by Carnival's parent company. The Sky has made regular calls there from the beginning of opening up travel to Cuba from the US via cruise ships.
  2. The Sky was the first cruise ship from the US to start calling Havana and it was the last.
  3. The changes will be taking effect tomorrow, June 5, 2019.
  4. Sorry to hear that you all will be missing your call to Havana. A bad day on vacation is far better than a good day at work.
  5. Thanks. I called reservations and they told me the June 7th sailing of the Sun is the only one affected.
  6. I would like to know what sailings still have GSC as a port. On ncl.com, my cruise on June 7th still shows GSC as a port. What makes matters worse is we’ve already made travel arrangements that will have financial penalties if changed.
  7. I received an email today that the itinerary had been changed on my Norwegian Sun Cruise in June 2019. The call to Great Stirrup Cay has been replaced with Grand Bahama Island. The only reason given was "scheduling change". Has anyone else received a similar itinerary change for a cruise this summer?
  8. Usually every five years which would put her for drydock again in 2020.
  9. I agree...this is such a mess!
  10. Sounds like they are operating by the seat of their pants.
  11. The whole process will run smoothly 🙄
  12. See post above. The engines are MaK which is a German company.
