  1. Usually when in port there are discounts on hair cuts etc.
  2. Sail aways from Sydney Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore Venice and Manhattan. Seeing whales breaching in Dominica. Komodo Dragons on Komodo Island. The Sounds New Zealand.
  3. Another vote for the Quincy. Have stayed there twice pre cruise. Great location. Just off Orchard Road so handy for shopping. Metro etc but quiet. Great service, great rooms and all day good quality food and free drinks in evening. Good choice if you haven chosen this hotel.
  4. Twice we’ve done a catamaran trip round the island with Calypso cruises. We enjoyed it so much first time we chose to do it again when we returned to Barbados. They pick you up from port and drop you off after. Price includes all drink and lunch. They stop at 3 different locations for swimming or snorkelling with all gear provided. Maximum on board is 10 I think so plenty room. Highly recommend.
  5. We usually take two huge suitcases, the maximum size an airline will accept, and have never had a problem fitting them under the bed in any Celebrity ship we have been on.
  6. The post saying anything over 7 days expect an older demographic I agree this applies in any cruise leaving from a US port but not so in Europe. Most Europeans prefer two week holidays. As we get more statutory time off work than those in US we tend to vacation for longer and more often when still in employment.
  7. I assume this will not apply to UK bookings where we don’t have choice of perks or refundable deposits.
  8. None of these things would make or break the cruise for me.
  9. That explains it then. Hope they bring out more interesting exotic itineraries. They are falling behind other cruise lines on that count.
  10. I thought the Constellation had been redeployed to Tampa from Asia for 2021 season as our b2b in November 2021 from Athens to Singapore was cancelled!!
  11. Hope they release some new more interesting and more exotic itineraries. The current ones re pretty boring.
  12. How far in advance of your cruise does the information appear? My cruises are showing but it just says check back later when I click on one.
  13. At the b2b meeting we were at in March we were offered 2 for 1 drink packages or drink package upgrades. Don’t know if this is normal on b2b or only in Caribbean. We had already upgraded our package for the full 21 days so we’re given a refund after contacting guest services.
  14. We had latecomers in St Kitts in March this year. Their passports and what looked like a wallet were handed over to the port agent and the gangway was removed. Just then they appeared running up the pier to much whistling and jeering from our ship the Silhouette and a P and O ship docked next to us. They just made it by the skin of their teeth!
