  1. Last year our move up bids to aqua were successful and were at a minimum offer for them. People are booked under guarantee basis such as myself. I been watching some "openings" this past week for guarantee basis, which means that they keep open a certain amount of cabins. Perhaps these cabins are the ones that were returned from travel agents back to Celebrity?
  2. Hello, I need your advice. We booked the last available cabin on Valentines Day (it was my gift from hubby), but it was through bluechip which only gave us a concierge cabin comp. Since there were no verandahs of any kind available, I took the Oceanview guarantee cabin. I realize it can be anywhere on the ship but to be honest, the most important thing was to be on this April 27th sailing, for 8 nights on the Beyond going to Aruba. My question, I just received a move up on this sailing, do I bid for a move up or take my chances blue chip may upgrade us anyways? If I don't get an upgrade it be a new experience trying out an Oceanview stateroom, any advice? Has anybody had a guarantee stateroom with blue chip and what happened? Thank you.
  3. I was wondering if anybody knows now what time the club closes.
  4. Hello, what is Celebrity Today?
  5. What time is the Club open till at night?
  6. The Beyond has the worst/slowest and poor service, we been on this ships which it works great, but for some reason the Beyond doesn't, and we always get premium wi fi.
  7. Hello, question, there was only one cabin remaining on the Beyond for April 27th but it was an Oceanview guarantee which we took since the importance was to be on this date/sailing. Will we be able to check in online 45 prior to our cruise even if we do not have an assigned cabin number?
  8. Mid October was our last cruise and we received them also last April.
  9. Same happened to me, we wanted April 27 sailing and there were no options. At least we are on the cruise we want to be, this is what is important. It will be great for us both.
  10. It will be funny if I get a great cabin with no issues and it be funnier if I get upgraded. If I get an undesirable cabin at least "I" will be on the cruise!
  11. Our last three cruises we were in aqua class and were always given our stateroom key holder and tote. My question, did we get these items because we were elite members or because we were in aqua class? Saturday we booked the Beyond, ABC islands which the only choice we had was to take an Oceanview guarantee (or a suite for 15k), just to get on the ship we chose the guarantee. Would we be provided the stateroom key holders having an Oceanview? Also, sometimes we were given one and other times two, are we allowed to get one each (there are two of us in the cabins and we found these quite useful, only we cannot find them in our house)?
  12. The old saying doesn't apply to me, it was the only cabin available to choose on this sailing, I had no choice other than a suite which was around 15k. We always chose aqua class no matter what the cost. It was either taking this guarantee Oceanview or not going.
  13. For some reason I am not allowed to fill up a move up bid.
  14. I saw just a small area with the club above and then the casino. I don't go to bed until after 1pm and assume the club would close by 2-3am so assume the noise level will drop??? The casino generally empties out around 1am.
  15. Thank you have a great day and a great dinner!
  16. I had no choice there were no assigned cabins available. I don't think there is a bad Oceanview cabin, there are no obstructions on deck 3 ocean views. Just curious if anybody had any bad experiences with Oceanview. I have not had anything less than a verandah in over 25 years. I been on over 100 cruises and only had one bad experience having a cabin under the MDR kitchen where we heard rolling carts and broken dishes hitting the floor, never booked another guarantee since and that was in the 1980's. But I really want this sailing, we cancelled the apex (San Juan, st. Thomas and St Maarten so tired of those ports that we don't even get off the ship).
  17. Thank you so very much, I truly appreciate it, bless you.
  18. There is a list of cabins where people wrote the obstruction percentage, noise level, etc. I can't seem to find it for the E class, anybody have it as we are going on the Beyond soon?
  19. We decided to change our cruise sailing as we prefer the Beyond 8 night ABC islands. Two days ago there was only a high end suite left and a guarantee Oceanview cabin, we booked the guarantee Oceanview cabin just to get on the sailing which is most important to us. My question, are there any bad Oceanview cabins? Looking at the deck plan all ocean views are on deck 3 and no obstruction in any of them and there are the panoramic ocean views that I highly doubt I get...then there are the deluxe Oceanview in front of the ship that have very huge windows that I feel is a plus. What would be considered a bad Oceanview cabin on the E class? Are there any bad Oceanview cabins on the E class?
  20. I won't mind dinner that night being fast, I hate to miss lobster night lol.
  21. Yes, Aruba has many great restaurants. We been going there each year (during "covid" 3 times a year), we go back for two weeks this August. I am trying to see all my friends that live there (workers at one of the main hotels that we go to each year and we will hang out all day while at port there). I love to see the night staff that gets in at 7 stay for awhile and speak to them then head back at 9 to the ship as the ship leaves at 11. Hate to miss lobster night lol.
  22. Hello, What MDR would you say on the E class will have more tables for 2 people?
  23. I am thinking that the menu's shown on the app may change when I get on the ship. Never on all my over 100 cruises I taken, elegant night been on a port day.
