We had a great time. There was plenty of entertainment with enough activities to make everyone happy. Cruise director Matt is great; and the staff on the vista they all work so hard - we had great service.
Things I’d advise - elevators on embarking and debarkation ... be realistic people take the stairs -they are trying to load and unload luggage, otherwise the elevators were fine.
Seating in liquid lounge is challenging bc of the seating arrangements and height of seats. Get there early if you want a good view.
Food was good, not best I’ve ever had but totally better than my last all inclusive (at a hotel). Be realistic in your choice and ask if you want something different or dislike your food. The chefs truly want you to have a great experience. Also we ate at guys burgers and taco place - GREAT. Steak house delicious - get the table dessert. The Asian place was a disappointment on embarkation day and we never went back. Didn’t do Italian, fish shack, or the salad bar, the last just being too far away.
IMAX was well worth the $12
Hasta la vista band was awesome- we watched them every night and also couple in the atrium. actually one of the great things about the vista is the live music all over the ship every night. Even Disney didn’t have as much variety regarding live music compared to this ship. Very enjoyable.
When watching entertainment outside- Stay on port side if you’re a non smoker. Go to the deck party and get there early-I really recommend watching from deck 11 - Matt gets people dancing on deck 10 and it’s fun to watch from above - go down one deck to participate.
Havana cabins worth it. We did an inside it was fine. If I cruised on vista again I’d do Havana on deck 6 or 7 and stay on port side because there is a stairway that takes you down to deck 5. I also recommend if you’re not in Havana Stay Aft and close to deck 5 bc it’s where everything indoors is.
