  1. The US State Department is now advising US citizens not to take a cruise. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/international-travel/before-you-go/travelers-with-special-considerations/cruise-ship-passengers.html?fbclid=IwAR23mRlu4-382HLuSM8i0KWQBSaZ4heDniggmxR3kBR6e2EgWiKr6B0EseM
  2. If you are on the April 20 T/A on the Quest, we're also onboard.
  3. I, as well. On my last cruise, I found E&O to be to esoteric for my taste, and not as casual as I would have liked. But food, of course, is subjective. My wife liked it lots.
  4. I feel the same. The restaurant is very good, very nice. But it's a big meal. You don't go to TK to eat light. and we have found the Colonnade and MDR to be our restaurants of choice.
  5. Hi. We live in Miami. 🙂 If you're staying at the Mandarin Oriental, it's a great hotel. And only a few minutes from the Port of Miami. We're on that cruise as well. Let me know if you need any Miami info.
  6. I never paid much attention to CD's, until we took a pacific cruise where Sophie was CD. She was so charming, so engaging, that it was a pleasure to be with her. I think the cruise we were on with her was her last. She was special.
  7. Hi, there. Can anyone recommend a good private guide service in Barcelona? We're on the T/A from Miami departing April 20
  8. Hi. TK is great, but we don't find it any more or less appealing than the other dining venues on board. The food is really good, everywhere.
  9. Hi. I'm on the Odyssey beginning March 30, and Antigua is still listed as a port of call, and I haven't been advised otherwise.
  10. Hi, there. I am pretty sure Australia would not allow food and drink to be brought ashore. Australian immigration goes to defcon 1 if they find you are bringing in a banana. On our pacific cruise last Oct/Nov, Seabourn did caviar in the pool because of local regulations.
  11. Hi. You need to be thoughtful on this. There is a difference between Seabourn's wifi and cell service. Even if you use shoreside wifi, that doesn't help you if you want to call family, friends, back home, etc.
  12. How did you enjoy your Lisbon-Barbados T/A? We are doing the 18 day Caribbean/TA this March/April. thanks much.
  13. Catlover, great stuff! Thanks much. I'm on the 18 day Caribbean/transatlantic departing St. Maarten on March 30. On a scale of 1-10, I would rate our two previous SB cruises an 18. Both (one caribbean, one transpacific) were simply spectacular. Appreciate the feedeback. and I never knew there was a complimentary wine list!
  14. Hi, all. Anyone care to give a review of the Odyssey and its Caribbean voyages now underway?
