  1. Liberty of the Seas, Taken last September, in Roatan.
  2. Is there at Nature speaker on board. We were on the Solstice 4 years ago and Brett Nixon gave talks every day about Alaska.
  3. In 2015 the Solstice had to tender every other week in Juneau, do to the number of ships in port. Didn''t really bother us much. Very short ride, we didn't have any plans except for the Mount Roberts Tramway.
  4. 4 years ago on the Solstice we had to tender in Juneau, would of rather docked.
  5. Let me know how September goes.
  6. We've decided on the Eclipse, now we just need to wait for a good sale. Thanks everyone for your input, it helped a lot.
  7. We Flew with Michelle and Island Wings in 2015. I was acually in the co-pilot's seat, which your son would probably love They are very close to the dock, we could see it from our ship.
  8. We're looking at Alaskan cruises in June 2020. We went to Alaska in 2015 on the Solstice and loved it. This time we are looking at both the Solstice and the Eclipse. Solstice leaves Seattle while the Eclipse leaves Vancouver. Itinerary's are the same except the Solstice goes to Skagway, and the Eclipse goes to Icy Strait Point. The price is almost the same, except Seattle is a little more in port fees. We've never been to Vancouver and it looks like it's beautiful. We've never been to Icy Strait Point, but it looks like there is not much there. We've been to Seattle, and there is a lot more there for us to see. We rode the train in Skagway last time, not sure if we would do it again. Hotels are expensive in both cities and it looks like airfare to Vancouver would be a little more expensive. Give me your thoughts and help us decide. Picture is from our 2015 trip
  9. My Audiologist suggested Hearing Aid Socks, which I bought and totally solves the sweating problem. They make your aids a lot more visible, but it doesn't bother me. I think they are a little pricey for what they are. Here is a link, they have several sizes. https://www.amazon.com/Ear-Gear-Instrument-Protection-instruments/dp/B00EJTHX62/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1535763541&sr=8-2&keywords=hearing%2Baid%2Bsocks&th=1

  12. I got this response from special needs dept when I requested a fan. "The ships do not have fans for guest use onboard, however, the guest can bring their own if needed. (Electric fans are permitted.)"
