    I know it's not automatic, my question is does it matter that the early saver promo rate booked was under my husband's VIFP but the new one is under mine?

    That's the problem. I have cruised more than he has and I get casino offers often but right at this moment he has a better early saver offer than I do. It's strange. If I book us under that rate which is only under his number, can I change to a lower rate that I may receive under my VIFP later?

    No they wont automatically drop the price. You should be able to shop the deals until you finish paying off the booking by calling customer service though.
     
    I've changed my casino promotions to better ones after by booking has been paid off by upgrading my room several times in the past.

    Hi there! I am booking a sailing for next April. My husband and I both have different promotions under our VIFP numbers. If I book using his promotion, which is an early saver VIFP promo and later I receive a better promotion under only my VIFP promotions, will they allow me to change to that pricing to that since both of our numbers are attached to the booking?

     

    Any guidance would be appreciated.

    I had 7258 on the 14apr Panama canal cruise. Fantastic!!!!! Slept on the lounge chairs often. Can't beat it!

    LOVE the layout of the ship. spent a lot of time on the lido and there was always space to sit. gatsbys garden is a fantastic place to sit and read and watch the sea. If Rupert is still handling that cabin, you'll never have a complaint. He's great!

    Gede in the ,MDR and his staff were fantastic but I think his contract was almost up.

    cruise cash-when is is posted to your sail and sign card?

    Thanks, there is nothing better than stopping off at the drama bar for a fruity drink w/ umbrella and knowing that it is already paid for.:D

     

    Don't think we will have a problem spending our cruise cash, it was not an excessive amount-just enough for the not to worries, I got this, sort of thing. it is a 7 day cruise.

     

    but are they going to bill my cruise cash first, and then my card on file, or try that card on file first.

    They don't start billing your card until your cruise cash runs out

    Carnival Sunshine thoughts?

    I was just looking at the Carnival website and it doesn't list the Sunshine in the list of ships that have Mongolian wok. I hope the website is incorrect because I love the Mongolian wok! Have you or anyone had it recently and can verify that it is indeed currently available on the Sunshine?

    It is, they just don't call it Mongolian wok because it's in jiji's at lunch time. Not dedicated only to wok

    If none of the desserts appeal in the MDR you can order the banana split from the kids menu!

    If you enjoy cooking, attend the cooking demonstration in the steakhouse. Very fun and you get samples.

    If you have had too much sun, go play trivia or sometimes there is a craft class. That is great for all ages.

    Don't feel like you have to do everything. Find some time for a quiet sit to watch the sea go by. Very relaxing.

    Also, you can use the showers and stream rooms in the spa area without having a spa pass.
