  1. We are considering booking the Horizon in Nov and are looking at a balcony on deck 9 or 10. Pros and Cons? What to avoid. We noticed on the deck plans that the IMAX theatre is below deck 9 midship. Is that an issue with sound? And the Pool is on deck 10 above us. Help us pick a cabin, please. 2. Looking forward to rest of your review. We are booking this itinerary in Nov. What deck were you on? We're trying to decided o. Deck 9 or Deck 10. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  3. This is awesome! That last photo of the couple in the matching suits, are my good friends. They buy new matching suits for the first elegant night on every cruise! The second elegant night they dress more formally. Its a vacation. Enjoy dinner in MDR and the people watching
  4. We stayed in a porthole room on the Paradise, cabin M11. The room was huge! We didn't feel additional movement or noises and loved how big the room was. Go for it! They go fast!
  5. They are "delightfully tacky" We love them. We cruise with the same couple on most of our cruises and we make it a point to "win" them every cruise.
  6. I just looked at my booking, my sailing is the Miracle on 9/22. Currently booked in a balcony on port side Deck 8. The upgrade is for an Ocean Suite deck 6 for $452. I'm passing, I don't think the price is that good. And we like being higher up and on the port side of the ship. Now if we got an offer to upgrade for $200 bucks, we'd take it! lol
  7. Can anyone confirm that they are still permitted to bring 2 add'l guests?
  8. My husband and I are booked on the Miracle with our friends who turn Platinum on the cruise. We sail to Grand Cayman and Belize, which are both tender ports. How does priority tender service work for Platinum guests? We are doing a non Carnival excursion in Grand Cayman, and I will get up super early to get my our tender tickets, but do our Platinum friends need to get tender tickets like everyone else?
  9. Great review so far. We are booked in a balcony on the Miracle in Sept. Looking forward to reading more about your experiences and thoughts on the ship. She is our first Spirit class ship.
  10. I was just on the Magic and it was the last day. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  11. I noticed on the excursion page that it says there is weight maximum of 275 pp. My husband is 6'4 and about 350. Did they enforce that, could you tell? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  12. I've brought them on all of my cruises. No problem. I would pack them in a plasic glad container and put in your checked bag. I've packed them in the box and had leakage. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  13. Great review! Thank you for posting. We sail on the Magic Sept 15th. Can't wait. Can you tell me which day was the 2nd elegant night? We are teying to decide which night to book the steakhouse. Thanks! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  14. We are cruising Carnival Magic in Sept and are looking for beaches in St Thomas that rent umbrellas. My husband burns easily, even with super high spf sunscreen. Please help! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  15. Every cruise I've been on, I've HAD to do laundry, as the husband or kids run out of clothes, no matter how much I pack. I leave and come back, but anyways circle back every 30 minutes This cruise, I decided it's not worth my time and I'm doing the laundry svc. It's $15 a bag. When I figure in the actual cost plus my time doing it myself, I'd rather spend 15 bux and enjoy my cruise vacation. The one caveat, I would only send "play" clothes and socks and underwear, as the laundry service washes in hot temp, all together. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
