  1. Agree NCL is best for SOLO - even if you are in the very cool studio rooms with all day access to the Studio Lounge. Just show up around dinner, the host will get a consensus where everyone wants to eat, and she makes the reservation, and will escort you to your table, and dine with you on the final day. I've met some interesting people that way, folks that I wouldn't typically strike up a conversation. And there are some characters! for sure. I prefer a balcony cabin, so no lounge for me, but I do go to the 5pm gatherings to head off to dinner with the group. I tend to be partial to RCL, their ships and amenities. I'll gladly go solo on a RCL ship. I travel often for work, so dining out alone is just part of life.
