  1. Thank you everyone for the ideas. Our cruise isn’t until Feb, but I will post about it’s success. We did a cabin crawl where everyone ended up in our CS. I was amazed at how many people attended and floored by how accommodating our butler was. This time we are roughing it in a lowly SS. 😀
  2. I will keep you posted. With us we are friends who have never met. During the sailing is Open That Bottle Now Day. I thought that would be a great opportunity to meet other wine lovers.
  3. With the wine crawl, since it is basically drinking wine during a cabin crawl, we will be fine. And we do end in a suite.
  4. Thank you. We do have a couple of Sky Suite people in the group. That was my fallback. I know the CS would be plenty big. But I’m not sure about the seating arrangements in SS with the new design.
  5. We are going to be on Silhouette after it is Revolutionized. There is a group of us (about 10 people) who will be bringing their favorite special occasion wines to share. Is there anyplace to gather for this sort of event on the new configured ships? I had thought about the Alcoves. Has anyone done anything like this?
  6. Amazing, 9 pages to clarify an act. Do we all need to be maritime lawyers to take B2B cruises?
  7. The staff can make or break a cruise. The vast majority give 100% if not more. If they are enjoying their job, we will enjoy the cruise more. I am in awe of their hard work and positive attitude. The only time we ever complained about the staff was when one of the officers reprimanded a bartender (in the suite guests’ lounge) in front of us. I’m not sure what she had done wrong, but you never reprimand staff in front of guests.
  8. Maybe I am crazy but why wear Louboutin shoes to the pool and how could you possibly forget them?
  9. No. I had created the Roll Call topic a few days ago. Since I didn’t see it in the rollcall, I thought I didn’t create it. But I had, so I removed the topic hoping no one would see I made a mistake.
  10. Hi. Who’s on board?
  11. I sure hope Feb 23 does not disappear. We have booked it along with some good friends. Trying to coordinate dates is tough.
  12. I LOVE the Persian Garden. I would book Aqua just for that.
  13. Thank you. I swear I saw some European cruise posted already. But I guess I was mistaken.
  14. Today I went to check for any cruises for the Summer of 2020. Nothing showed except the Galapagos. I checked multiple agencies besides the Celebrity site. Could it be that all the ships for all the itineraries are sold out 20 months ahead of time?
  15. One cruise we had our 7 and 10 year olds with us. The butler introduced himself, then we went to lunch. When we came back, an Xbox was setup for the kids. He offered to pick up the kids from the Fun Factory when we were trying to figure out our busy schedule one night. I think our best butler was one we had in our SS. The worst was in the RS. He was not bad, but he didn’t read our minds as well as the others.
