There is some noise, but it didn’t bother us. PICTURES (Attach pictures in your review) DATE OF CRUISE AND "REVOLUTION" COMMENTS I love the new Retreat. It isn’t very handicap friendly. It’s hard to open the gate if you are in a scooter.
  2. I am kidding about which is from Silhouette. I love the ship. I would give up the Enomatic dispenser for her.
  3. Well, looking at the deck plans for the "S" class ships, it looks like only Silhouette and Equinox have had Cellar Master removed. Hmm, maybe I need to switch ships.
  4. If you are looking for the types of high-end wines from the Enomatic wine dispensers, they are no longer available. I did enjoy getting a taste of Opus One or something similar that I would never be able to sample on my own. It is disappointing that this treat is gone and most of what is left is 'everyday' types of wine. What we have done for the last few cruises is to have a wine lovers' get together with others in our roll-call and each bring their special wine. We have lucked out that we all have brought special bottles (Rubicon, Chateau Montelena, and a few extra ordinary small vineyards.)
  5. I am on a cruise in February (yes, way too long from now.) It looks pretty full looking at the cabins available. If Celebrity is restricting capacity, would they be bumping people from the cruise and how long before time have they notified people who were booked on these restricted cruises?
  6. Unless you want the aft, all other Sky Suites are on deck 12. We have stayed in one of these and had little issues with noise. There is also an overhang from the cafeteria. This is great if you want shade on your balcony.
  7. Well, this gives you a reason to upgrade, if you want.
  8. Please don’t call the officials on us. I promise to get treatment for it, after our cruise is over.
  9. Thank you. I've been using the free version of Marine Traffic. I figured there was an explanation. Does anyone know if they are picking up VIPs on Freeport for a First Look?
  10. I’ve been stalking Silly and noticed she has not “reported” in almost a day. Is this common?
  11. Wow. You have earned your vacation. But do you think you enjoy your vacation more after those grueling days?
  12. Sound like you will be in the Suites? Which one did you book? I am on the 2/23 cruise (with Gordon) and will be doing a cabin crawl. I plan on taking as many pictures as possible.
  13. Once we started doing suites, we found it hard to go back. The one thing I don’t like is the location of the Sky Suites on the S Class Ships (with the exception of Reflection). They are either under the cafeteria or the aft. Our butlers have been magicians in knowing what we want before we know it. The really suite experience starts with the Celebrity Suite, especially with the separate bedroom and the shore concierge. FYI. When we did the Royal Suite and Celebrity Suite, I drove a 10+ year old Ford.
  14. I agree. White looks chic and elegant. Blue just looks nautical. But there is a comment that blue is more environmentally friendly.
  15. Our last cruise, a group of us did the Spa Veranda, There is no bar but there is Also no crowd. It is possible to smuggle a drink there, but you might get looks from all the exercise nuts on the treadmills.
  16. Thank you for all the info on this thread. I was wondering what happened to the crew during drydock. I don't understand Sky Suites positioning. On the S Class (except Reflection) they are either under the cafeteria (with a large overhang above them) or the aft, there are no mid-ship. When we booked our cruise, DH kept looking daily for an opened mid-ship Sky Suite besides deck 12. He refused to believe me when I said it didn't exist.
  17. We have stayed on the Reflection hump multiple times. We love it. Not a mistake.
  18. In February, we were a lowly CS, our friends were SS. Yet, in Terminal 25, we were pointed to the Suite area for boarding.
  19. Thank you everyone for the ideas. Our cruise isn’t until Feb, but I will post about it’s success. We did a cabin crawl where everyone ended up in our CS. I was amazed at how many people attended and floored by how accommodating our butler was. This time we are roughing it in a lowly SS. 😀
  20. I will keep you posted. With us we are friends who have never met. During the sailing is Open That Bottle Now Day. I thought that would be a great opportunity to meet other wine lovers.
  21. With the wine crawl, since it is basically drinking wine during a cabin crawl, we will be fine. And we do end in a suite.
  22. Thank you. We do have a couple of Sky Suite people in the group. That was my fallback. I know the CS would be plenty big. But I’m not sure about the seating arrangements in SS with the new design.
  23. We are going to be on Silhouette after it is Revolutionized. There is a group of us (about 10 people) who will be bringing their favorite special occasion wines to share. Is there anyplace to gather for this sort of event on the new configured ships? I had thought about the Alcoves. Has anyone done anything like this?
  24. Amazing, 9 pages to clarify an act. Do we all need to be maritime lawyers to take B2B cruises?
