Having Carol as the point person is a real asset. Having industry experienced, Asford, in the back room is a real advantage.

Carnival leaving San Diego...again???
EddiesToys replied to embarkation75's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
Dito We would rather fly to Perth AU than go to Long Beach. We've seen Carnival leave before...that's two strikes! 10 other cruise lines depart from SAN. Some are way over our budget, but we might look at the Koningsdam which stops twice on the "Big Island" vs Carnivals one and only stop. Don't particularly like HAL's new cattle boats... -
Carnival leaving San Diego...again???
EddiesToys replied to embarkation75's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
Not long ago, Carnival has two ships in San Diego. There are still 10 other ships to choose from: Norwegian Jewel Disney Wonder Zuiderdam Koningsdam Silver Cloud Celebrity Millennium Star Breeze MS Roald Amundsen Eurodam Nieuw Amsterdam -
So... Pacific Princess will become the Azamara Adventure?
-
WIN - WIN RCL ingested much needed cash Azamara added a forth ship!

Not all, Don. Azamara Pursuit was bought from Carnival Corp.

Hi, Deb. Sasebo was our last port before getting captured. Enjoy the Grand Africa!

You were very very lucky... My wife was admitted to the ER on boarding day. I had to remain on the cruise with a group that I was leading (including my daughter and granddaughter). I now have one more Carnival cruise that she. And I had to pay again on Southwest Airlines for another ticket (full price) even thought I had already paid for a roundtrip ticket. Instead of buying travel insurance, I "self Insured". And 'that's the way it crumbles...cookie wise'!

I think the "cruise critic representative" mentioned, is a volunteer fellow passenger who purchased and brought the name tags at his or her own expense. Some of us who have done name tags for CC groups, have also prepared name tags with CC name, home town, and actual name pre-printed. I used to prepare stick on name tags until one fellow passenger claimed that I ruined her sweater. So now, I buy Avery 3x4" name badge holders and inserts, and print out the badges. To date, my largest Meet and Greet has been around 230 fellow CC cruisers...a lot of name tags, and a lot of work. B
