Pool has been open entire cruise since 22/9. It is not a problem that requires taking ship out of service if that is what u mean. . -
Currently on board 2 patches of rust size of a 5p on balcony.

We were told something similar when on board close to release of new cruises In fact they came out while still on board a few days after the end of a promotion for existing cruises. A similar promotion ends on 16th Sept.

When we first met him 10 or so years ago he was 2nd officer on QE or QV, can't recall which, when he used to give virtual bridge talks in the theatre. -
For those non Grills like me who likes a good view 4 departure and scenic areas such as the fiords or Dalmation coast the lack of through access on deck 11 in particular is a total pain.

with 25 years in a SAR role and still going to sea for leisure apart from cruising I still use 0-12 Beaufort which is what the Met office and UK coastguard use.
-
"Well, we had storm force 6 (out of 10) on our crossing." to what wind scale does this refer?

If as synoptic charts suggest HP becomes established over UK then that might generate east to north east winds down the Channel resulting in a long fetch and build of swell with a wind squeeze through the gap between the Cherbourg Peninsula and the south coast. On the other hand PO could go and then cancel spending a day slowly meandering round the channel.

Warm and sunny doesn't mean no wind and swell.
