  1. After a price drop for my balcony i asked for a FCC. NCL confirmed that as a one-time good will gesture, they have created a future cruise credits for me and my wife (900$ total). These credits will be available for one year to book and sail, upon completion my cruise on Debarkation Day. Now i would like to put a bid to upgrade to Haven. What happen if I win that upgrade ? Will I still get the FCC after my cruise or is it cancelled because i'm an no longer in my original balcony ? Because if I lose my $900 FCC, then my upgrade become much more expensive than just the bid. Anyone had this particular situation before ? Thank you for your advice.
  2. Is it possible to buy refundable onboard credit online before the cruise on my NCL account and then cash this money at guest service without fee? Anybody tried this ?
  3. I also noticed that since january there is no more actual solo discount (no single supplement). Now the best you can get is a small discount in a 'solo' cabin that is almost the same price as for double occupancy.
  4. I purchased one on sept. 2, 2023 and one on dec. 29, 2023. On my laptop both of them shows no expiration date. on the NCL app : the sept. 2, 2023 shows expiration 12/31/99 the dec. 29, 2023 shows expiration 12/29/26 Still very confusing !
  5. I also bought my CruiseFirst on December 29th. In my account it DOES NOT show any expiration date. BUT on the confirmation I received by email it does show an expiration date of 12/29/26. Very confusing ! 🤔
  6. I got one cruise first yesterday and i have another from last year. In my account they don't show any expiration date but the terms still says 3 years ? Will they expire or not ?
  7. Exactly the same for me they changed my status to Sapphire on the first day of the second B2B even if my NCL account was still showing platinum. My status changed on MYNCL account only a few days later.
  8. The best way to determine your next status is to answer this question : * Did you get enough points (150 points or more) after the first leg of the B2B ? If you are at 150 or more after first leg then you can claim your new status on the second leg of the B2B (unless this is a single reservation number for the whole B2B). In my case i was under 150 before the first leg and over 150 after the first leg. It was clear that for the second leg I was now sapphire (it was another cruise reservation number). Cruise next desk manually updated my status in the system and then told me to get a new card showing the new status at guest service. All of this was done within less than 10 minutes.
  9. I did get my sapphire status on the first day of my second cruise on a B2B (2 different reservation number) in september. Just go to the cruise next desk and ask for it. It was easy and fast. For the dinner your DH will not be eligible...unless they make an exception, but i doubt it.

  12. Obviously a lot of people who are not aware of that problem will have a bad surprise when they will look their reservation. It looks like you need to call (more than one time) to solve that, because they don't correct it automatically. And they still didn't solve that problem :

  14. Another update : after a long phone call, they manually ajusted the price of my excursions to match the initial price which was lower. And the new shorex confirmation now shows again it is all paid. I just hope it will not change again.
  15. Update on my side. Yesterday I received new reservation and shorex confirmations. All my shore excursions are back BUT the price is now $1325 instead of $1224. The shore excursions confirmation shows amount paid 0$ (while I paid $1224). And now the new amount due is $1325 more than before the glitch. So the shorex price is higher and the payment disappeared. What a nightmare.
  16. I just called NCL and they told me around 72000 shore excursions were erased because of a technical problem. They also told me they are working on it and everything should be back during next week and that I have nothing to do. It still makes me nervous but I will give them a chance...Finger crossed.
  17. My excursions are not back yet and I still didn't received any email about that. I paid 1224$ for those 8 excursions !!! FRUSTATING ! 😠 The only thing that changed in my account since i booked the excursions is that I became SAPPHIRE after my last cruise. Last week, they refunded me a small amount for each excursions (the additional 5% discount I get being Sapphire). Is it possible that's the reason for that problem ? Others are you in the same situation ?

  19. I have the same problem my 8 booked shore excursions are gone on my MAY cruise...
  20. It is not a matter of Stiffing anybody, we are talking about included DSC and GRATS, Like when there was promotion including DSC and Grats on FAS a few years ago.
  21. I agree with you, it will be the same for me. But I think that if the number of cruise ship in town is reduced, they should give priority to cruise ship that are embarking and disembarking.
  22. There is a big difference between Arrival/ departure port VS Port of call. Speaking for myself I will spend a whole week (and a lot of $$$$) in Barcelona before embarking next may. I'm pretty sure they want my cruiser dollars 🤑

  25. My intention is not at all to trick anyone but just to book a transfer that i can TRUST from NCL. I am not confortable to book a tranfer from an unreliable company i don't know in Italy.
