The zuiderdam is in Grenada today - we walked to market, chocolate museum and fort George - I am exhausted. A P& O ship is docked next to us. I love chicken livers so was happy to read recipes - I have one at home to make pate - it has sherry and is super good! And can be frozen if you make a huge batch! Best wishes to all!

HAPPY 31st anniversary Maureen & Richard and Happy Birthday to Sam! We are off to Fort Lauderdale soon!

Thanks for all the anniversary wishes! It is hard to believe it has been 47 years! We picked up a rental car today to do a one way drive to Fort Lauderdale fairly early tomorrow! Then we board the Zuiderdam Wednesday! I enjoyed photos from Japan since that is scheduled to be a stop. happy 2024!

Thanks for daily report! And all of the info! yesterday we had our new tankless water heater installed by plumber and electrician - that should permanently stop the water leak that was discovered unfortunately by our downstairs neighbor. Best wishes to all!

Happy birthday Jacqui! we got back from world cruise 5/12 and have been busy dealing with water leak, and broken stove igniter and wine cooler. Also I was told I need implants for 2 teeth, so I’m getting a second opinion today. But we are both feeling well! And trying to lose the few pounds we gained on cruise. thanks for all of the info and jokes!

Here is photo of pull down bed shelf - it is more organized than it looks

Yesterday I tried to find the extra batteries I had packed, so I had my DH take my 2 big suitcases out from under the bed. Since that was a lot of effort, I decided to take my heavier clothes out to avoid having to do the suitcase thing again until we leave the ship. Anyway, batteries were not in suitcases, but I had them already out, in with power bank for phone. So, today I organized shelf into categories- and made decision never to ever bring so much! We are in a room with a pull-down bed above couch and it has proved to be useful as a shelf!

DH and I made it onto zuiderdam! Our first port call today in Falmouth Jamaica- we just walked around town- there were lots of old (1799) buildings- I’ll attempt to send photos

Happy Friday! Hope effects from severe weather aren’t too bad for Daily-ites. Stay warm! We will probably turn our heater on later today. Yesterday we had zoom Global entry interviews. We both passed, but mine is only good until December 2026 while DH’s is good until July 2028?? I heard that Bank of America’s preferred awards card provides travel insurance for medevacs, etc (but not medical expenses), does anyone have any experience with card? I wonder if you have to put entire cost of cruise on that card? Best wishes to all!
