September 24 Brilliance of the Seas Vancouver to Hawaii. 10 days.

Sorry I just googled or did trip advisor to find something to do and I saw a lot of things about a lady that did massages at different places. She will go to a hotel, beach, etc. It's been some years since we have done that.

I second the Trikes in Aruba. I have done that the last 3 times we went to Aruba and our family loves doing this. In Curacao we were supposed to ride the tuk tuk cars but a hurricane prevented us from stopping there. I have also found a lady that does massages and she picked us up at the port, took us to the beach, gave us massages, and took us back to the port. All for about $45/massage. That's been a few years. Whatever you do you need to walk across the floating bridge.

I still have a little time before I book as I can't get airline tickets yet and I'm not sure how many nights I am going to stay but I do have some time to figure it out and how many points it will take. Any special area in the Royal Hawaiian or is there only one or all good rooms/views?

I'm going to be there in October 2023 as well but I am cruising on RCI. What hotels do you recommend if I am wanting to use my Marriott points. I've seen a lot of places but I'm not sure where the best place/area is.

When you're in San Juan you have to eat at Kabanas. Best tacos anywhere. I really loved the pork tacos but we had one child get nachos and another a hamburger and everyone said it was the best they had ever eaten. I haven't been in a few years but last time we went it was across the street from the Renaissance La Concha. Don't miss this place. We ate there 2-4 times every time we went there. The girls would talk about flying down just to eat there.

Is that in November? That’s what mine shows and I was scheduled for September 24, 2023 to Hawaii. I was told that they weren’t doing that just Alaska then going to Australia with no passengers. Mine now shows 10 day November 8-18 in Australia. while they say they aren’t doing Hawaii the website does show Brilliance going to Hawaii Sept 24-Oct 4.

So can I call my TA and ask them to prepay them for my September 2023 cruise?

We just got back from Haiti and were also booked in a suite and we didn't get an early option to purchase a cabana. In the cruise planner we could get a cabana at one of the other beaches but not Barefoot Beach(suite beach). We were offered to purchase one when the concierge sent us his email which was about a week out but they were so expensive we didn't see the benefit vs cost of it. We ended up going 2 days to Haiti due to a Hurricane headed to Curcao and the first day(unplanned) I don't think any of the cabanas at Barefoot Beach were rented. The second day there were only like 3 rented. We were glad we didn't rent one because we were in the water all the time except to come out and eat and go to the bathroom.

They didn't ask the other couples to join. Both of the other couples asked them what cruise they were on and the first couple asked if they could join and decided not to spend the money for the suite. The second couple booked it without saying anything. Until you have that talk with couple #3 to explain the difference in rooms and perks you won't know what they are thinking. It could be they want to eat together every night and then again they may not expect anything. Have that talk soon so both of you can decide how you want to proceed.

Do you get anything extra for having above the 100 shares or is that all you get regardless of how much you own?

I should reach my 140 in September of 23 on Enchantment. If I remember I'll let you know. Lol.

Well I guess I'll be the one that says I always pack mine in my suitcase. When it gets damaged or gets lost then I'll rethink that after my horrible trip with no CPap and no sleep for me or anyone in the room with me.

We are leaving in two weeks for our 10th cruise. This will be the 9th cruise that we have had 4 in the room. Our daughter and a friend have gone with us each time. We have managed just fine but I might add we have had a GS most of the time and OS once or twice and this one will be an OS and it will also be our daughter and SIL. I always get ready and sit on the balcony or go to the SL. Granted a suite is easier than a regular room but it's doable. Good luck and enjoy.
