And if you don't cancel, it's not a problem.
If you fail to cancel, it will remove one of your free specialty dining or you will be charged a fee.

Ciao and benvenuto! This will be our first cruise out of NYC (had one end there), our first trip to Bermuda, but our 20th Carnival cruise! Really looking forward to this! We've been to Halifax several times and love the city and history! We plan on re-taking an excursion we first took back in 2018 with Halifax Titanic Tour. Paul is a fantastic tour guide, knows the history of the city and is so passionate we fell in love as well! Having never been to Bermuda before, and looking on these boards, we reached out to Heidi with Bermuda Byways. Heidi needs at least 4, but no more than 10 before she will confirm.
Looking forward to seeing everyone onboard!
Might be interested in your Bermuda tour. It is our first time and I've been exploring the bus/ferry pass option. Been watching a lot of YouTube videos. None of the excursions appeal to us.

You don't have to wait for the group if you want to get off. They include "in transit" passes so you can get off when you want to, and skip the lines to get back on board. The B2B paperwork you will receive will explain everything.
Thanks and hope to meet you on board.

We will also be on this cruise, and the one before it. We just completed a 21 day B2B on the Venezia. The ship is beautiful. We have a review in progress on the Carnival page if you want to check it out.
Loved your review, very informative. One thing about the process of B2B, after processing, can we get off the ship to do a quick tour of the Intrepid? Thanks

Thank you both for a beautiful review, especially of the Canadian portion. We are headed on a B2B in September. First leg has three ports in Canada. Second leg stops in Halifax again and two days in Bermuda. We have never sailed out of NYC or been to any of these ports. Looking forward to the ship as well.

Love Paradise Point. Best Bushwackers ever. I'm not a fan of Magen's Bay. When we visited it was dirty and overpopulated. It seemed better when you were there.

Remember back when I said Patti requested to Edy that we wanted three sets of towels? Well, since that was so difficult for him to remember that, Patti started disassembling the towel animals for the extra towels. She had a whole pile of towels in the closet by the end of the cruise! 😁
We had a steward that could never understand I needed an extra towel for my hair. I would even leave notes. I did the same with the towel animals. They were missing limbs LOL The only guy we never tipped.

We are approaching the Cruise Terminal in Oranjestad, Aruba…..
The Venezia is getting a water cannon salute…..
We are sailing past the Church of Scientology’s Freewinds, which spends most of its time here in Aruba…..
We are now docking at the Cruise Terminal here in Oranjestad, Aruba. Captain Crescenzo has gotten us here an hour early…..
To be continued…..
I've never actually seen people walking about the Scientology ship.

The Warehouse Arcade is also up here…..
It’s strange looking up at the funnel and there is no whale tail…..
Patti heads further aft and finds the Sports Court and some exercise equipment…..
Patti heads down to Deck 11 where she finds plenty of seating above the Burano Pool area. On the starboard side is the smoking section…..
To be continued…..
Thank you, my husband asks me to scope out his smoking area before we board. We will be on 15FWD Portside for B2B 14 days.

how much is "much" ?
Princess now has about 90 days or so before its' first scheduled cruises in April, 2021
is another round of cancellations coming sooner or later ?
We have a cruise departing May 1, ending in Vancouver, BC, Canada. We are hoping they make a solid decision soon. If not, we already have a backup in September.

The Princess web site does not mention medallion class for the Majestic for sailings up to April 2022. You should assume a booking on the Majestic will not be medallion class. Expect that all these upgrades are on hold for some time. Lack of medallion class will not really effect your on board enjoyment. The ship does have the fast medallion net wi-fi, but if you are thinking about Alaska the faster wi-fi does not work well in the northern latitudes.
You are correct, I don't see it on the website now but a brochure I received Monday states Majestic is Medallion. Either way, we really don't care, we are just ready to cruise. 😉

We are booked on it for August 2021 and they state Medallion Class

thx for info . By chance did you go into the water at all-how did it feel if you did?
No, we were on on island tour and our stop at Maracas Bay was about 40 minutes...Bake and Shark was our priority and we were told that we were not stopping for beach time.
On a side note, it is sad that many of the islands have trash and sewage issues. Many blame the US for trash in seas, but they hug their trees there but toss trash in the ocean.

We visited Port of Spain, Trinidad on our most recent cruise. We elected to take a Princess organized tour, which was enjoyable. We were dropped off back at the port where there were several vendors. It was crowded and I held my small bag close. Vendors were friendly and not pushy at all. On a side note, Maracas Beach was beautiful, Bake and Shark amazingly delicious, however...the beach did have trash so would not walk without shoes on.

We stopped at Trinidad on the Grand Princess in 2010. I made arrangements for a private tour to take us to the Asa Wright Nature Centre with another couple. Both of us gals are birder enthusiasts and photographers. It was a wonderful place. The driver then took us to a beach on the north shore where we could buy some lunch from a barbeque place where he helped us pick out what to eat. We all enjoyed this excursion very much. However, when it was time to leave the vehicle and pay the driver, the driver wanted more money than we had been told it would cost. The other gal and I left the scene to let the fellas work things out and I don't remember how much they ended up paying him. This nasty experience led us to never return and I'm not sure Princess has gone there in recent years.
Thank you. We have elected to take a Princess run excursion for safety. Yours isn't the only story I have heard of being asked for more money, but it was before return to ship. We have never been there and want to see the island, but safely.

Do you have Elite status? If so, you can swap your minibar for two coffee packages and then just purchase a soda package.
No, this is only our second Princess cruise. 12 on NCL doesn't even get us those perks (no pun intended).

Just so folks are aware, the "Soda and More" package is now the "Classic Soda Package" and it's gone up to $11.79 per person, per day. They've also introduced the "Premier Coffe & Soda Package" for $23.59 per person, per day. Looks like it's unlimited brewed coffee, specialty coffee/tea drinks, fountain sodas, fruit juices, hot chocolate, and mocktails. The 15-drink "New Grounds Coffee Package" is still offered for $36.58 per person. Decisions, decisions...
I agree. I am weighing my options. I do not drink alcohol but I must have my soda and morning cafe mocha. I like the idea of mocktails and smoothies. The classic soda package and grounds coffee would be less expensive for me and serve my needs.

Anyone recall colors of bands offered for sale? I'd like to ask someone to pre-purchase the bands for us but hubby wants different colors (like WDW). Also, is it waterproof? Can I swim with it on? thanks

I seen a post that said it was near the photo shop? On the Caribbean Princess. The cost was $25.00 😳
Tony
Disney sells special bands for their similar "access" MagicBands in excess of that so seems reasonable. I would pay that to not have the thing hanging around my neck.
How to cancel a dining reservation
in Norwegian Cruise Line
Posted
The reason I stated what I did was because our last sailing, we did not cancel a dining reservation within 24 hours of the scheduled time (husband became ill) and we lost one of our specialty dining credits. We are platinum and even took it up with guest services, to no avail.
Today, I did manage to cancel a dining reservation via the chat feature. I'm only going on what has occurred to us.
