rdt10 I not sure if I got the email sent to me. I may have to ask someone to send me a copy, too.

I booked the Millenium for the April 30th sailing so expect to receive the double points. Why are people asking for the email? Was I supposed to mention it at the time of booking or are people trying to have proof of the offer in case they don't receive the double points? Thank you

I booked the April 30th Millenium sailing, too. Would like to book beverage packages on-line because it will cost less than booking on the ship. I guess we'll have to wait and see if they show up on Celebrity.

Forgot to mention, except for the sun issue we happen to love the location of the cabins on 11. Very convenient to Blu, the buffet, the rear elevator, etc.. Also generally quiet (sometimes a faint sound of the movies on the deck above but nothing too distracting)
Hi, Is there any balcony coverage or is it totally open....we would get wet if it was raining? Thanks

Thank you. I also see Aqua cabins on Deck 9. Hmmm.....not sure Deck 9 vs Deck 11

Hi,
Looking for an Aqua cabin on the Millenium. Read some reviews and it seems some cabins on Deck 11 don't have much of an overhang on the balcony. We would like a covered balcony. Can anyone share if they've been in Aqua with a well covered balcony? Maybe an aft if it's available? Thank you

Just booked two Aqua cabins on Millie for April. They have the same price of $1,099 pp for 11 night Alaska cruise in Oceanview, Concierge and Aqua. Since it is less than 90 days bookings are NR.
Hi, I just put an Aqua cabin on hold. It's on Deck 11 but I am wondering about the over-hang or lack of it. Since it's an Alaskan cruise I would prefer a cabin with a well covered balcony. May I ask what deck you booked your cabin on? Wondering if I should change cabins but not sure what deck to ask for. Thank you

I agree with others...go to the iLounge. We bought Apple watches last year on the Edge.

So sorry to hear that vtcruising passed away. I loved reading her reports on the Edge before we sailed last year. Reading her Flower Power Cruise report is the reason I signed up for FPC 2020. Sad we won't be able to meet her. RIP vtcruising.

Other Services:
WiFi: It was really bad compared to the Edge. I could get it in the cabin - better closer to the door - very slow. Forget the balcony. The best was in Cafe al Bacio. Was not available in theater in most places we sat (while waiting for a concert) and was hit or miss in many public areas. It would quit right in the middle of a post sometimes. It wouldn't have been an issue if I hadn't been doing the live thread (and paid for unlimited). Will be better after the refurb for sure! The WiFi texting worked very well.
I read that passengers complained to Celebrity after getting off the Infinity about the poor WiFi connection and they got a refund. 😉

Thanks for explaining the wait list. Now I get it lol.

I called yesterday and was told there were 281 cabins available. Over 100 were Inside & Ocean View. They went fast!

Still a few hundred balconies left on rock and romance, which sometimes has artist overlap. Jefferson starship is on this next year along with America and many others. This is also 7 days for first time.
Have you sailed on FPC & R&R? Did you like one more than the other? I would have considered that one if we didn't get on the FPC.

Thanks! It will be great to meet all of you if I manage to snag a cabin😎✌️
I hope you can snag one. There is always someone who has to change their plans. As Vt said, every Tues at 8pm they post the cabins that are available. I'm not sure what the waiting list is.

Vt & George, do you use StarVista's travel protection, or another travel insurance? Are you able to choose your show "group" (early or late)? Thanks😎
When I booked this morning, the only choice I had was Early show/Late dining.

Great, I'll sign up for the roll call. They asked what size tee-shirt we wanted...do they run true to size or big?

I booked a cabin for FPC 2020! So excited for our first FPC. Got online at 0600 PST and was able to get 1143, an inside cabin on deck 11. Our last cruise was on the Edge in Aqua & S3 so this will be quite the change. But I figure it's only for a week, we're there for the music, and only one deck above the OVC and bar. It's an aft cabin below the Roof Top Terrace so don't know if there will be noise from above. We'll have 17 days to recuperate and then we have a cruise booked in Aqua. Hope to meet some of you on-board!

I was disappointed to read on the FPC chat that a couple said the service in the MDR was terrible and they felt rushed. The waitstaff seem annoyed when asked for coffee with dessert. They loved the entertainment and the staff from Star Vista. But they will never sail on the Infinity again. So I'm interested in reading your final thoughts. I know you didn't eat in the MDR. The writer said if the post was inappropriate they should take it down and they did. (it was longer) He is a travel agent with over 36 cruises and this was the least desirable of them all. (oh my) Having read that info, I still want to sail on the FPC. I'll be there for the music and let the other stuff go. Oh, also read that people were saving a whole row of seats in some venues and that didn't go over well with others. It's always something!

Thanks for your great trip report. I looked forward to it every day. Do you think it's worth paying for Aqua on the FPC compared to the MDR? In Blu, you can eat at any time so is dinner faster? Probably no time for the Persian Gardens.
-
That was nice to have the OVC open late. I was wondering if the dining room was empty with all the passengers going to the concert.
-
I read that the line for Tommy James went from Deck 1 up stairs all the way down Deck 2 corridor.
-
Congrats on snagging the suite! It's supposed to be difficult to book suites as they go fast.

I wonder why it's OK to fly to London.
Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, wife of Canadian PM Justin Trudeau, has tested positive for coronavirus after returning from a trip to London, a statement from the PM's office says.
