No need to pay for extra on the cruise, your flight which we're not talking about is a different story. You can bring as many as you like, it is good to be kind to the stewards who have to tote your bags to your cabin for you. So maybe don't make them too heavy please.

I've used the promo a couple of times, however, it's unlikely that I will use it without at least the one day deviation.

Back problems can limit the weight of luggage as well. Need to be very aware of what is really required. No need to overpack IMO.

When I book a hotel pre-cruise, I book it myself and ensure that the hotel offers pickup at the airport and transfer to the pier the next day. Never had a problem with that set up.

I agree with all that's been said here. My husband and I had our separate suitcases and we'd cross pack. Some of his in mine and some mine in his, because things can happen no matter where or when you travel. Just makes sense to be prepared for any eventuality.

This is exactly what happened with my flight as well. I called and confirmed the change, checked also to confirm my seat was the same as well. All good.

2 day deviation is what I have now booked for my next cruise... I'd think about it...

Yes, really sorry if you're ill OP, I'm just wondering what kind of preventative measures you and yours took prior to the cruise. I was just on the Escape end of June but had taken a Covid booster shot a couple of weeks prior to the cruise and I seem to be just fine. I'm very grateful for that. I have another cruise coming up end of November for which I will take the same preventative measures. I really do wish more could be done to keep other's from becoming ill. Hope you get better soon. As far as I know, none of the Jewel Class ships (Jewel, Pearl, Gem and Jade) have an Observation Lounge, however, I have seen many posts stating that certain venues are closed for some events which are privately attended.

You're certainly not the only person. I don't pay attention to this Plus feature of NCL. I guess there are many who would benefit from it, just not me, even if DH were still around it wouldn't be important enough to pay that kind of money. IMO, while reading the fine print is important, with NCL it should be the first thing everyone should do.

Ya know, when I look at my reservation, it does look like it would be the original $50 discount, plus the additional $50 discount, plus the Lat. 15% discount for excursions, doesn't it? That would make a huge difference in cost especially for the tours in EU. Of course I could be wrong but it would be nice. lol
