  1. With each new post my DH (CruisingHawg) and I are getting more excited and determined to be apart of Bella 2. Y'all are having way to much fun without us. All we need now is the "Who to call to book to ensure we are part of this group". I am very glad I am retired so I can try and not get pages and pages behind. Enjoy your beautiful weather and day at Cozumel and keep those pictures and post coming. .
  2. Is this the new Diamond+ welcome aboard amenity? The letter I received confused me. Does the new tote bag replace the new fruit plate or does it replace my requested bottle of wine or replace both? As I said, I'm confused and have only had 2 sailings since we we reached D+. Thanks Virginia Lea
  3. I don't live that far from you ( either of your homes) do you need a "tester" to validate that claim?😂
  4. Does anyone know if this is a donation library? I bring a couple of books each cruise and once finished could "donate" them.
  5. John, my husband and I really want to be a part of Bella 2 if the group is open to others. The fact that it is the WOS and sailing out of PC makes it double enticing, only a hope skip and long jump down the road from us. When you know the date and have the group set would you add us and we will book instantly. You can email me at vlrothwell at yahoo dot com. My husband is crusinghawg on CC.. I am enjoying "cruising" with y'all this week on my favorite "Sister". It is tiding me over till our TA on the Odyssey in April. Thanks, Virginia Lea and Paul
  6. 8686 is our "go to " cabin. We have been lucky to get it several times on different " sister's". We love deck 8 ( as do so many).
  7. Hold again just lifted New launch time is 3:55. Launch window ends at 4:00pm ( 1600) so last chance for today.
  8. I am so very sorry for all these issues you are having to deal with. I am also believing that all negatives for the entire trip are happening today which I hope will make for the best cruise ever once you board. Your tale of delays and cancellations is also a testimony of why you ALWAYS arrive the day before you sail. We live in Florida ( Daytona Beach area) and the only port we drive to day of is Port Canaveral. I've set in traffic for 2+ hours to many times on I 95. the $$$ of a 1 night hotel stay is worth my piece of mind. Praying that the rest of your travels today and tonight go smoothly.
  9. I am 100 steps from A1A in Ormond Beach and I WILL BE GOING SOMEWHERE THIS TIME NEXT YEAR!!!!!! Maybe Bella Part 2.
  10. Yes, I jus looked it up, you are correct. Oasis is returning back to Ft Lauderdale in Fall 2024. I confused myself on the NE ports. Thanks for the correction.
  11. Yes, but isn't it just replacing Oasis? I guess after Oasis gets her "face lift" next spring she will return to sunny Florida and the Odyssey will go north. At least the Odyssey has a climate controlled and enclosed Solarium.
  12. I will be there as well, thus my smoking area questions. maybe we will run into one another.
  13. Yes., so you will have to wait a while. that s the bad news but the good news is she is going to be sailing from Nov of 2024 thru April of 2025 where the deployment schedule ends.
  14. Would you mind letting me know if the deck 5 smoking area is on the port side or if it has moved to starboard?
  15. That will be easier for you next year when she begins sailing from Cape Liberty next Nov.
  16. They usually have headliner shows which ranges from in clean comedy, jugglers, singers etc.
  17. If you haven't already ,watch the Movie and that would give you a better idea if you think your children would pick up on the sexual innuendos ( which is the theme of the musical 1 daughter 3 possible fathers) having said that the music and dancing is amazing. The best in the fleet to me. The language as I remember was not bad. I would say that kids today see worse on prime time TV just my humble opinion. .
  18. As long as no one is looking back at me I will be fine. this is what I expected to get. Still can see the stars and hear and smell the sea air and wind.
  19. That's my plan Thank you. I don't mind the category, I knew I would likely get the obstructed cabin with a GTY, I just had no idea there was smoking on lower decks. I am use to it only being on the upper pool deck and the casino and can easily avoid those areas.
