  1. So just came back from my 4th cruise in 2 years. 3rd one on Carnival. I was on the Carnival Fascination

this time being a guy i usually never ever walk into the spa, thinking its more a of women's place

but this time i decided to try it out the service

did a massage therapy service the deep tissue and it was the best thing ever

has anyone else done similar massage on their cruise experiences? i think it was good experience. would love to do it again

anyone else use the spas often?

  2. i actually have the Scenic railway booked with a catermaren, but i want to cancel and change.

looking at few videos of the railway, seems just a slow train. where i rather just get right to the point and see the main sites and get to an activity instead.

looks ok for some people but i realized not my type of thing. so that is y i asked in this forum , to figure out a new idea

  3. I cruise solo and always do the balcony. yes it cost much more but i also like spending time there as well. at times nice to get away from all the people on the ship. and just have quiet time looking at the water.

could never do an inside. i did it once a long time ago on my first cruise, and never again lol. the lowest i would do is an ocean view , i like to know where i am going.

  4. Hi all will be on Carnival Fascination from San Juan on October 23rd 2016

Solo as well, with balcony, anyone else solo going as well , on same cruise

thinking of hike up the Pitons in St Lucia if anyone interested

like to hear back from all of you?

  5. What is St Kitts ABout?

As in this is the main thing to see or experience here or what is this place known for? snorkeling? diving? beach?

landscape? just looking to focus an excursion as being a first timer here. like to cover something this is of importance here. thanks

  6. Regarding the NCL cruises . i have cruise solo with them as well.

u don't need to stay in the Studios to have access the to the Studio lounge. they often have solo cruise meet and greets on the cruise and u get a pass regardless of cabin you have to access the studiou loung, on that cruise i had a balcony and still had access

    no big deal though.

  7. no worries on age. i been travel solo since my early 20's

    now into late 30s

done everything from road trips, backpack, bus tours, etc

now in to cruises last few years

    always good

for a cruise. seems just be active on the ship and you will meet others, no worries on being solo. like have a dinner in the dining room , i found often others around you may strike up conversation

also consider doing one of the tours by the cruise ship, where you get be close to others etc

more less look happy and go play it by ear

  8. would this be a decent tour by Carnival for Barbados

Seems to be a decent tour.

Also it says Copacabana beach. looks like its quite close to the cruise port.

Is this a recommended beach for Barbados?

Would this give good first impression of Barbados?

Alright for a solo person too?

i will be there on cruise mid October?

recommendations? anyone recommend? or other suggestions? thanks

  9. Anyone here do the 4x4 Island Adventure, that ends up at the Copocana Beach.

    Also

what did you think? does it give good overview of the place?

Would i be able to get off the tour at the beach, vs taking the back to the ship. and getting to ship on my own? in other words, possible to leave a tour early and do my own transfer to ship . thanks

  10. Coral World Ocean Park . considering this an excursion with Carnival cruise, in October. will do with the cruise line, as seems cheaper vs on own. for some reason

any how plan to do a Snuba at the Ocean Park, but i was wondering if i would be allowed to stay at the ocean park and go to the beach afterwards vs taking the transfer back to the ship. would that be ok? i know an odd question but figure i put it out there. thanks

  11. Considering doing a snuba trip at the Coral World Ocean Park - in St Thomas

is this consider to be a great area for snuba and diving and seeing coral reefs?

would this be consider a good place to go to make sense of St Thomas

for all who done Snuba at the Park, do you recommend? good experience? as in lots to see? thanks

  12. I was looking and found out that its possible to hike the Pitons and climb to top one of the mountains in St. Lucia. i know its about 2 hours drive one way from port to the hiking spot.

as i am doing a carnival cruise here in October. would there be enough time to do this?

    anyone on this board

who did a cruise, hike up the Pitons? is it a doable in the time allowed? or should i look at something else. thanks
