Just got back 2 weeks ago. My fiancé and I traveled biz class both ways using miles on American (110K) and Northwest (125K). I'm 6'2 so about the most I can stand in coach is about 5 hours (which basically get me from LA to NY). Seat reclines 150 degrees although our outbound flight was missing the little flap that folds down from the foot rest so you can rest your feet on - in fact entire biz class cabin was missing the flap. Return flight had it though. Nice selection of appetizers and entrées plus desserts. Be warned that seats in row 2 have limited leg room due to the bulkhead in front and seats in row 5 have limited recline due to the bulkhead behind. We had an 11:20PM flight out and got to the airport about 2 hours before. Was able to skip ahead in the check-in lines plus the bag screening line (it was a full flight). Another perk is the biz class lounge in Papeete. After snorkeling and swimming all day we were exhausted and it was nice to have an air-conditioned lounge to relax in with free drinks and snacks. Also it helps with customs. There were 3 agents in Tahiti when we landed at 6:45PM and were #7 in line I think. I heard that other people had waited about an hour to get through. Also we were the first people back through customs in LAX. Took us about 15 minutes from exiting the plane and getting luggage to getting cleared and on our way home. Got a chance to look at 1st class also. Not really worth the extra miles or cost. Seats recline 180 degrees and there are only 6 seats. What really impressed me was the owners cabin/suite on the Wind Star. Had a chance to look at that when everybody had disembarked and we were the last people off the ship because we made are own arrangements. HUGE plasma TV plus the sitting area and extra closets. New cabin upgrades have looked very good on this ship although having been on her in 99 she is starting to look at little "rusty". Overall a great way to start and end an amazing vacation.
