  1. Pre-covid, as many have said, an 11:30 flight for us, has always been very easy from FLL back to Canada. Our December flight to Toronto on AC was originally 11:05 and that had us slightly nervous given that we, and others, would have to take a test. At one time, they said that they were going to do those tests on board, but who really knows what the plan will be. Air Canada ended up moving our flight to 2:45...and gives us lots of time, and perhaps way too much time sitting in the horrid Terminal 2 at FLL.
  2. depends on what airport and port.....
  3. We are on both of those cruises, and the next two after those....and we expect to be tested between each cruise
  4. a quick google search showed that she is anchored off of Port Everglades
  5. sooner, rather than later.....you can always refare if the price goes down. Also, the sooner you book, the easier it is to get the cabin(s) you want, especially if you want cabin near to each other.
  6. from the Princess website... Good Spirits® at Sea It’s the place where every drink is an experience and tells a story, connecting you to those around you and regional flavors around the world. Based on Good Spirits, the popular TV series that traveled to far-away destinations in search of local ingredients for original cocktails, our lively bar is the perfect place to explore new drinks. Our onboard mixologist immerses you in the culture of your chosen destination as he crafts your cocktail. Catch the original series on the MedallionClass® app or your stateroom TV.
  7. Plus....the Sky starting on Nov 20 with 7 day cruises.
  8. We have 4 back to backs in Nov/Dec out of FLL, but don't necessarily expect the procedures there to be the same as on the Grand.
  9. read the last couple of pages of the "live from the Grand" thread.
  10. Not sure that there are Cabanas around the retreat pool, given the small area and added cabins on that deck. The only cabanas I know of are in the Sanctuary.
  11. We board the Sky in November for 28 days, and we have a similar issue of timing flying from Canada to FLL...had to delay our flights because of the timing.
  12. it's not "48 hours", it's 2 days before boarding, so that could/should make a difference.
  13. You know what your Elite perks are, right?...got nothing to do with CC
  14. Perhaps, but that is a cut and paste from the Princess website so wasn't about to edit it. Perhaps young people with the package get the tumbler

  16. could be Costa Maya, Belize, or Roatan, or a sea day. Still still show Grand Cayman as a stop on our upcoming cruise on the Sky
  17. Makes no difference if under same reservation number
  18. Not always....sometimes the US officials board the ship and review passports there.
  19. Didn't know that you had to declare religious beliefs to sign up.....
  20. As the OP probably knows, Air Canada flies from YYZ to YVR almost hourly....so book a late morning flight out of Toronto the day before the cruise, arriving mid-day in Vancouver having the afternoon and evening to relax, enjoy the Vancouver morning the next day, and leisurely board the ship mid-day. All very easy and stress free
  21. I have often seen, and eaten, English style bacon on Princess ships in Europe and the Caribbean.
  22. We just did that for the Sky in the Caribbean.....our travel agent negotiated on our behalf. We are happy with the outcome
